Ransom For Four Women

((I was going to kidnap people to test this death trap dungeon puzzle so I don't have to walk in first and get the loots at the end without any real risk. Perhaps a discount for a fellow villain?))

]*Arbrek, upon reading the note, twitches. Seeing his daughter, whom he had been assured was safe in Salvus, on the list. Slowly, he pulls Doombringer off his back and smashes the board into tinder, roaring in anger. Picking up the note, he stalks in Khaz'A'Zhar, ready to gather the ransom, and an army. Upon reaching the bottom of the winding staircase, Arbrek shoves an unfortunate youngling into the wall, breaking his arm, and stomps down and into the city proper. Nearly killing a crowd of Dwarves on the Lava Bridge he stomps up to the Three Kings, incandescent with fury, and hurls the note at their feet*

"Teh...Teh Humans...They 'ave captured me Daughter! This cannot stand! Kidnappin' teh daughter o' a Dwarven Lord, I can see that their brains are smaller then teh average humans... We need ta stop them. Now."

*Figin listens to Arbrek talking about Karvia. Feeling a bit sorry for Arbrek, he runs off towards Salvus.*

*He says nothing as he runs with his bow ready.*

Sees the note and reads it in detail, grabbing the shattered dagger on the ground, hoping that he finds some hint as to the location of the kidnappers from the dagger and heads to Fort Umbra to convene with his generals and formulate a plan to rescue the girls....secretly hoping one of the girls is a dark elf...The Emerald Knights will not stand for such indecency

Sprat takes the note a the ground, taking awhile to read over it's contents, still new to literacy as a child. Once he finishes the commenmtary; realzing that he was fondeling the corners of the paper in frustration from understanding the scribles upon the paper, he turns to the side with note inhand. Having the intention to veil the attentions of the House of Thyone to the plot. He whiskes off into the forest with an elegant, and gracful skip, Sprat slithers off to inform his family.

*Regaki chuckles after looking at the note*

"Anri's gotten herself captured?

Not much use to us now is she..."

*Turns away, yawns, and walks along the path*

Ambrose pauses and scribbles down a ransom before continuing to follow the sleek grey wolf on the scraps of a trail the man is leaving.

"For Keya: A five thousand minas house, with all of the furnishings and items inside. Items include: At least three bows, eight stacks of wood, two suits of iron armor and countless leather ones, eight units of magma cream, fourteen units of a glowing yellow powder said to enhance potions, five blaze rods, and many more items of the sort, along with regular payments of one thousand minas a year for five years. A diamond sword or two may or may not be forthcoming. Payment may be taken in cash or item. In addition, I offer as a replacement, a certain Atriana Tarus, daughter of the VERY wealthy noble Eze’kiel Tarus, and Sky Druid of the Druidic order. The ransom one would gain from her, not to mention her general ability, FAR exceeds that of Keya. Bidding for her would likely start at twenty thousand and go upward.”

Yet another dagger flies from the shadows and plants into the board.

All payment in cash. I'm not taking anything else, so don't ask. Sell the things you have and make an offer of minas. Perhaps the angry dwarf would pay for his daughter before I remove another one of her fingers, and the calm-feigning ranger would like to know his beloved Keya is broken and dying along with Karvia.

They are slowly rotting away at my hand and my it's quite fun to see their tears fall on their bloodstained flesh. Satisfying, really. I might accidentally take it too far if I don't get some real offers. I'm changing the ransom.

Karvia: 10,000 Minas

Keya: 7,000 Minas

Anri: 5,000 Minas

Elysia: 4,000 Minas

Total: 26,000 Minas

((I will tolerate absolutely zero power or meta gaming with this small event. There will be no use of magic to discover the location of the captives, or otherwise, unless the server staff gives express permission that directly overrides my wishes.))

((I'm guessing that most of those prices won't be payed... I've asked for less than 10,000 for actual queens and haven't even gotten that much. Good luck, though.))

((Haha, nice. Really, I've seen some treasuries... To pay all those ransoms it would easily take a big chunk out of a kingdom. I'm guessing Karvia will be the only one to be rescued.))

*Chirr walks into the board while writing in his notebook, since the collision has ruined his writing tool he decides to read the notes on the board, this one in particular catches his eye when he read Keya's name.*

"Oh my."

*Chirr considers for a moment if he could pay the ransom, but he has so few Minas to his name it would make no difference*

"I'm sure Ambrose will take care of Keya."

*Chirr places his notebook and broken writing tool in his bag, and sets off to find Ambrose to see what he has done about the situation.*
