One does not simply fall out of love with Celia Windsworn! (( If the high ranking members of Haelun'Or do not approve of this then please tell me. Please note that I'm not doing this for my gain. Trying to add to the roleplay, as there are very very very very few single pure female high elves. All eligible high elves please please please apply. Let's create some dramatic RP. I'm interested to see who will end up with a dagger in their back! :D )) I have noticed recently that Haelun'Or lacks some interesting flare, or drama going on. I've also noticed that at my character's age she should have a husband by now. In order to combat two birds with one stone I've thought of the idea of "The Celia Windsworn Sweepstakes" Now you may be thinking, "WTF IS DIS?!?!?!" Celia is a fairly young high elf at the age of 233 human years old. She is observed as one of the most beautiful high-elves in the world of Asulon. There are many male high elves at the moment that fancy me. Now Celia is no ****, or *****. She simply wishes to settle down with a pure blooded high elf that is good of heart and soul. If anyone has read Eragon, her personality is somewhat like Arya's mixed in with Katrina's. Haelun'Or doesn't have much drama at the moment. Everyone is all happy-chappy with each other. While that's great I think we need to spice it up a bit. If you've ever played Skyrim, then you know the situation with Faendal, Sven, and Camilla. In order to do this, my character will act as a common love interest of many high elves. I urge all eligible male high elves to vote. This will create a role play opportunity for all of us. Celia does not have much requirements save these : REQUIRED : - A home in Haelun'Or. (Ask Ellir) - Some kind of job. (Ask Ellir) - Pure High Elven Blood - More then 100 minas. (Easy to get.) - The knowledge of how to properly treat a lady. You shouldn't be a sexist douchebag. Celia is actually fairly competent with the sword, and she is a good-shot with the bow. (Read this. - Between the ages of 50-650 - Must have no mate. - Must be male. RECOMMENDED : - A knowledge of High Elven Customs. - Somewhat skilled in combat. (Level 10+ in either bows, swords, or axe mastery.) - Over 500 Minas (Still fairly easy to get.) - Decently known by the people in Haelun'Or. - No criminal record. GREAT PLUSES : - You are a hunter. - You are a minstrel. - You are in the council. - You own a store. - You have 2000+ gold. Now you may be asking. "How will this be "judged?"" Celia will pick the person she knows and likes the best. You are encouraged to bring gifts, and praise to Celia. YOU ARE EXTREMELY ENCOURAGED TO SABOTAGE OTHER CONTESTANTS, AS THIS IS TO CREATE DRAMA. (Try to do so in secret.) I just have a small application so that I know who is going to participate. (The event will not go on unless four lovers have applied.) IGN : RP Name : Job/Profession/Specialties : Which Recommended Tabs did you have (Celia will not judge purely based on this, but it helps alot in wooing her.)? Which Great Pluses Tabs do you have (Celia will not judge purely based on this, but it helps alot in wooing her.)? The victor will be decided by Celia herself on April 14th. I will send a PM saying that this person has made Celia fall in-love, and when he is ready he should propose. Think of it as The Bachelor on LoTC! :D Keep in mind to stay close to traditional High Elven views. The proper way to court Celia would be to write poems and songs. Not to profess your love in the middle of the Haelun'Or square. Also, for the winner, he'll get a wonderful wife. If a bloodline is started, then we shall have a large fine manor! (Which you can read about here.) Celia is one of those girls that men fall in love with, and truly never fall out of love with. Even when she is married, her ex-lovers will still harbor feelings for her. You are extremely encouraged to RP hate to Celia's future husband. You are highly encouraged to bring gifts of food, art, and clothing (skins, or leather armor) to Celia. Also, Celia is of extremely good of heart and NOT a gold digger. And while I fully approve of any initiative and basically anything that will create RP, I would like it if you consult me first before going through with this so we can make it in harmony with the existing lore. High Elves have very distinct ways on how to court, and these hold up even if multiple eligible partners exist. I am actually a bit disappointed with the way these eligible males have apparently been acting, as it was in conflict with the Proper Way. This, then, is steering us further away from the true Mali'aheral way. Please send me a PM and I will get you some details on the HE love-lore. It shall help us immensely. I too am pretty sad that the HE males aren't doing their things. I think I have three people that are in-love with Celia, but none of them actually wrote me a poem or a song. Just a heads up for all you lucky boys out there. Celia is a pretty big traditionalist. I've added an extra paragraph to the OP at the end. *Points at Larien, and Kolyat* That's real RP romance. Sporadic 2844 Share Posted April 1, 2012 The problem is that even when you have people vying for your attention IG, if you put up a notice, even if it is OOC, you ask people to stick their neck out and be vulnerable without guarantee of results. I really want to see this take off somehow (with proper lore <3) despite it being tough. I hope you will find five eligible RPers that are this brave, but it might be a toughie. They're applying to have an interesting time roleplay wise. I hope that even some of the older high elven players will step up. I'm sure we can have some fun.
