Mercury199 86 Share Posted April 1, 2012 As Kolyat walks through the College he finds himself in the assembly hall where he was wed. A small smile creeps over his face as he remembers his wedding. He suddenly jumps to his feet, running from the room. He pulls a parchment from his pack and quickly writes. In one of my many homages to the Great College I noticed the assembly hall in it's current state. For the first time in a great while I felt the calling of a higher power, I am asking that a religious service be held on a regular basis for those who wish to attend. Not often but frequent enough so that we do not forget why we are there. several lines sit at the bottom suggesting you sign for support
Sporadic 2844 Share Posted April 1, 2012 The Calling you heard was either the excessive thunderstorm or the presence of our graceful and most hallowed ancestors smiling down upon this. The wise and scholarly Mali'aheral, however, realize that we must serve the ancestors and patrons of the Elves, sharp thinkers and pioneers such as the great Malin and acclaimed Larihei, in our actions and dedication to our blessed kin, not in the The lesser races need the favor of a divine being to organize and rally the motivation that they themselves so severely lack, and fail to achieve in their short lifespan. The Mali'aheral know better.
Mercury199 86 Author Share Posted April 1, 2012 Perhaps it was however should we not devote time to our elders ? We already fail in enough cases to respect them, and do not contest that for it is true, should we not have a service of remembrance for those who now watch us from another realm. And my intent was not to grow before the " All mighty Malin, our great savior ". I meant this not as an opportunity to worship, more as an opportunism to gather and meditate as a whole to connect with ourselves and with one another through our greatest weapon and our greatest savior; our mind. Lynesse {Celia/Jazzy} 398 Share Posted April 1, 2012 Even if there is no God, there is a distinct difference between good and evil. I say that once the amphitheater is built, someone should preach on how to be good to one another. -- Celia Windsworn
JoakimVonAnka 63 Share Posted April 1, 2012 "I don't believe in any God or religion. I believe in knowledge and science. With this said, I do respect any other beliefs, but I wouldn't want Haelun'or to become a city with mad religious priests." *After she is finished, she sits down, reading a few pages out of a book*

Any further mention of religion in a positive and non-scientific or non-critical way will be dealt with and the perpetrators punished. All religion is a threat to society and detrimental to the mali'aheral race."
Mithradites 1168 Share Posted April 2, 2012 Lucion notices the flyer while dragging a sack of Mali's books back to his hall. After his first reading he is so shocked he sits down. After a second reading, he develops a headache. After rubbing his temples for a few minutes he pulls himself up, pain pulsing through his forehead, and scrawls some words on the parchment. "I look to the sky and I look at the ground. I look to the college and I look at the streets. I look at the trees and I look to the mages tower. I look to the fields and I look to the sea. Just to be sure, I look to the sky and ground once more. I see no Gods here. Gods did not bring us to being. You cannot "feel" urged to build an effigy to fairytales, you can only create it yourself. Your logic is flawed." Feeling his headache recede somewhat, Lucion staggers off.

Without saying anything she listens carefully, trying to get a hold of the topic of the day. She notices a Female Dwarf and Celia, speaking about fashion. Lona sighs before leaving the Inn. She heads to the docks and decides to test the fishing luck.*
