Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I play a lot of video games and I love sports. Recently I have been trying to get into roleplaying.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could be on about 2-3 hours a day, probably more on weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: To me, roleplaying is when you turn yourself into a character that you have created and use all of the tools and people around you to make a great world for yourself and everyone else.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: Currently I play on RomeCraft, a roman themed Minecraft server. It is somewhat RP but I was hoping to get into hardcore roleplay like this server.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is using information from outside of roleplay and using it to aid your roleplay character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is when you force something onto another player without their consent, somebody walking up to another player and saying "Punches him in the face and kills him" is an example of Power-gaming.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect the server to be a great environment where everyone can roleplay.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on RomeCraft. I'm leaving because the roleplay wasn't very good on the server.

How did you hear about us?: I heard about this server through one of Roxthesox's posts on PlanetMinecraft.

Character Name: Erat

What Race are you?: Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race):

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): After Erat was born, his mother hastily visited Elandriel and left him on a stranger's doorstep. No one knew who his mother was or who is father was so the people who found him adopted him and raised him as their son. He was strange because he was born with brown hair and his skin wasn't as fair as the other elves' but he had the characteristic pointy ears and blue eyes.

He grew up as a normal elf, but he came to find that he loved solitude. He spent most of his days wandering the forests and practicing his skills with a bow. After years of wandering the same forests he longed to wander the rest of the world. When he turned 20 he set out on an adventure to find what he really wanted to do with his life. Once he returned to his home after 5 long years of traveling he knew what he wanted to do, he wanted to be a warrior. While he traveled he had picked up some training with a blade and wanted to put it to use. So he set out once again to see what fate had in store for him.

What is your Character's ambitions?: My character wishes to further his knowledge of weapons and combat.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): My character's favorite tool is his bow.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? One of my character's best talents is stalking, he is good at staying out of sight and using stealth to his advantage.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I approach them and say "Why do you harass someone who you know cannot compete with, there is no nobility in that" I will try to talk them out of it, but if they attempt to attack me I will draw my sword.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? My character's response is "Could I see your wares? I'm always looking for food and equipment that will aid me in my travels."

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I would inspect the area around and in the hut for any signs of recent activity, after finding none I would only take the sword because the iron would weigh me down.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I say "I've been lost for days out in the wilderness, do you have any food to spare? If need be I could work it off my debt to you."

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I would gather my weapons and head off to help the guards. Hopefully during the conflict I could advance my knowledge of combat.
