*From the comfort of his bed Tibb reaches for his quill, dips it into his newly acquired writing ink and begins to scribe the events of the few nights ago, which led to his injuries and a string of robberies and other wrongdoings within the town.*

Dear citizens o' Branborough, it is with much regret that I announce a recent attack on the peace and stability of our beautiful town, as most of yer know the new boat route is up an' running and all sorts of strangers have been coming in and out of Branborough, much to mine and others displeasure, well this time, the visitor proved te be much more of a nuisance than most.

I am writing up a detailed story of the events which will be available fer your reading pleasure in the Thanes burrow bookshelves when finished, Tibb.

*Tibb tears this paper from his book ready to pin up on the town notice board, he then pauses for a moment of thought and to take a swig of ale for pain relief, he then continues in the book detailing the events of the night.*

VANDALISM, THEFT AND EXCRETION

It was a dark night, Petyr and meself were headin' out on the morrow to trade between different nations fer iron and scarlet dust, deadly quiet, a man in a full suit o' iron armour creeped behind us, after a while of asking him te leave and a few insults being tossed back and forth Petyr decided meself and 'im should jus' carry on and deal with him when we returned, and so we did, well tried too.

*Tibb dips his quill into the ink once again and continues to scribe the events in the book*

After a long two days of travelling and trading, Petyr and I used our Soulstones to return te The Vale, we were tired and disappointed, the trading didn' produce much of use, although a lucky few received something from us. I returned directly to the centre of town, where I saw the same man in iron armour as I did 2 days earlier, it didn't take long after tellin' Petyr he was 'ere to notice that he had set alight the middle tent of the town, destroyed Rainbow bridge with explosives, personally smashed multiple burrow windows, uprooted many crops and plants around town and possibly worst and most dastardly of all, he excreted his waste on top of Saviticus's bed.

I think it's needless to say that these crimes cannot and would not go unpunished, me and Petyr confronted the man about his crimes, to which he laughed and proceeded to attack us, firstly shooting an arrow at Me and then by trying to stab Petyr, Petyr avoided the lunge, after which I leapt onto the attackers shoulders, bringing him down upon myself, which would prove to be almost fatal as he immediately took his sword to my throat and sliced it like butter.

*Tibb's neck begins to feel uncomfortable, but he continues on...*

The cut was not too deep, I took my hand to my throat to try and quell the blood, but I couldn't forever and was becoming increasingly incapacitated due to the pain of the cut, I soon became drowsy and fell unconscious in the road and my last memories are that of Petyr, heroically attacking and possibly saving me from the evil deeds of the villain.

*Tibb takes a minute to recall what Petyr told him earlier about the fight while he was unconscious*

Petyr bashed the villain over the head with his hoe, coming back with a dagger, wildly stabbing at the mans head, who was lucky enough to be wearing a helmet. Petyr noticed a few good men approaching and so thought best to distract the villain by throwing ink all over him, temporarily blinding him while the men arrived to backup Petyr, one of these noble men is a resident here in Branborough, Saviticus, he was closely followed by a stranger who's name we did not get, but his face will never be forgotten and he will always be welcome 'ere in Branborough.

At the sight of the backup, the armoured man ran, ran as fast as he could through our logging forest and off into the wilderness, never to be seen around here again, the men made sure of this by chasing him closely for a good mile. That was it, the trouble had gone,As fast as he could Petyr came back from chasing the villain and sealed me wound before lifting me back to my burrow and flopping me onto my bed, where I am right now.

*Tibb turns to a blank page and begins to sketch a picture of the damage to the village from his memory...*

Ye can all see the extent of the damage from the drawings I made, after all this drama an' such we have a few people to congratulate and thank fer their 'elp, Petyr, fer his outstandin' combat skills, medical skills and rebuilding skills. Saviticus for turning up at the right time and chasing away the villain and finally, The stranger who also chased away the villain. Without the above mentioned people I may not have survived this vicious and unprovoked attack and the town may not have recovered to its former glory as it has today.

Thank you, Tibb.

*Tibb closes the book, and places it on his bedside table ready to moved to the Thanes burrow for all others who wish to read it, for now though Tibb sleeps, for he is still weak and needs to regain his strength.*

A fine story! And all too true; we shall have to be more wary in the future.
