Greetings, fellow learned men and women of Asulon. I am Nemantius Maehr, High Scholar of Alras, and overseer of Alrasian knowledge, arts, and culture. I am here to offer any and all scholars a chance to join the Alrasian Scholar's Guild. As a scholar, you are offered a wide variety of jobs ranging from traveling the world, to inventing new mechanisms, to the keeping of our wondrous Royal Library, and with a reliable pay system as well. In addition, soon the third floor of the Royal Library will be ready to house any scholars without a place to call home.

If you find yourself an intelligent, reasonable being in search of honest work, I have attached multiple application documents, although you may also contact me personally. Best of luck to all, and may wisdom follow you wherever life takes you.

There are currently three jobs you can take at entry, and two jobs you could be promoted to. You can start off as a Traveling Scholar, traveling the world searching for books, an Author, writing books, or an Inventor, thinking of new mechanisms. Possibly later on you could be promoted to the Librarian, to help oversee the Royal Library, and you could maybe even be promoted to the Savant, the second in command, later on.
