~ Consensus Curriculum ~

“To abide by a strategically oriented basis of terms to organize the government"

~ Participatory ~

“The participation of government officials in the hierarchy of the nation is critical to the overall success of the nation as a whole.”

~ Equity of her citizens ~

“All citizens have the ability to maintain and improve their well-being.”

| Kingdom of Seventis Hierarchy |

“The Kingdom of Seventis is carefully structured and critiqued by a well constructed government that is bound to its' peoples. It is ran by the King and the King's second in command is the Archduke. The monarch, the King has jurisdiction without the entire realm along with the Archduke. The Government of Seventis is unique, possessing special qualities to keep its' settlements intact.”

The King - Has jurisdiction throughout the entire land, his word is law. He is in charge of maintaining the government, ensuring it is operating successfully and he appoints several individuals to his stand who also ensure the overall welfare of the Kingdom’s land.

Prince – The Heir to the Throne, he helps his father manage the Kingdom and also develops plans and reforms to secure the government. In the King’s Absence, the heir will control the Kingdom and will address the problems at hand.

Archduke - Second in Command to the Kingdom, he only answers to the King. He too can implement reformations but must do so with the approval of the King. He is also second in charge of managing the essential documents of the Kingdom and he along with the King can make verdicts regarding internal and external affairs.

Duke/Duchess (Subject to editing.) - They possess a large piece of land and are assigned to various tasks such as: Managing taxes, determining the security of their land (military presence, crime rates.), assigning parts of their lands to lower hierarchy nobles such as Lords or Ladies.

Lord/Lady - Owns a single settlement, ensure the safety and well being of the citizens. They manage their land by assigning their citizens positions that will bring wealth and prosperity to the settlements in which they reside. (Head Miner, Blacksmith, Farmer, etc.)

Baron/Baroness - An honorary title, given by the Duke to a member of one of the settlements. They have little to no political power in comparison to the rest of the hierarchy. A Baron would own a large plot of land within a settlement, they’d be given this title in a show of appreciation for their commitments to better their home and country.

This is the current government official hierarchy. The Military will soon be implemented.

Crime Hierarchy

-----------------------------

“This hierarchy organizes each Crime according to the severity of the crime and punishment involved.”

Any act of Rebellion shall be ended swiftly at the suspects and the individuals involved will be punished with execution.

Murder shall be punished severely with jail time and/or execution depending on the severity of the murder and individuals involved.

Treason and mutiny: Those found guilty of treason shall acquire a punishment by any of the current high government officials serving within the specific settlement at that time. It is to their discretion to which punishment the suspect should obtain.

Thievery will be punished with a fee or perhaps jail time depending on the amount of goods stolen and their net-worth.

Fines:

Thievery: (Depending on the amount and value of goods stolen)

Murder: 500 Minas and a Jail Sentence.

(Too be continued.)

-----------------------------

“These laws are subject to being changed at any time without notification of any of the Kingdom’s peoples.”

- All individuals are expected to behave within the land of Seventis, they shall not harass or assault any citizen of the Kingdom without proper reasoning.

- All citizens are given rights to their property. Those who remove these rights hereby break the law of Seventis and are subject to the proper punishment.

The King, Prince , Archduke, any Vassal (Lord/Lady), Baron/Baroness, or any Military official.

- Murder, Treason, and Thievery are not permitted within the lands of Seventis. Any instance of any of the aforementioned events shall be dealt with by following the proper punishment guidelines listed below in the Crime Tree.

- Officials within the Kingdom are expected to behave whilst visiting other Nations or Kingdoms. Failure to do so will result in a thorough investigation upon the individual’s particular ‘outbreak’ or ‘crime’ within that settlement.

- The Kingdom of Seventis is not held responsible for what its’ citizens do outside of its’ walls. However, any official that scars the Seventis name will acquire a severe punishment.

- A well maintained militia, being necessary by the held settlement, should not be infringed.

- Any assault that is to occur within the Seventis walls will be dealt with according to the punishments described below. Assault is prohibited within the walls of Seventis and is shunned down upon.

((The position of Lord and Lady should be removed from creating settlements. A kingdom of your size should have a maximum of three settlements, really. Dukes and Duchesses should be ownerships of one settlement in their own land.

In medieval society, murder was met with death every single time unless they were extremely special circumstance.))

(( The council idea was good, but meh. This seems like too many chiefs and not enough indians. ))

((My opinion

Have five members of government. They will all be a part of the Council

King: Manages all parts of government and coordinates the four sects.

Seneschal (Relations): Plays the role of diplomat to other nations and is the direct advisor to the King.

Grand Merchant (Economy): Manages the funds and economic agreements as well as the sale of homes and other services and goods.

Grand Marshal (Military): Manages the military and guard force.

Archbishop (Culture): For when Renati makes his decision about joining the Church of Horen. Manages church services, performs ceremonies, and acts as an ambassador of the church.))

((We're doing that. I had to throw something down for revision as currently the government is highly unorganized. Massive reformations will be added.)
