The Kingdom Hierarchy

The hierarchy splits into two Branches. The King is on top and is both Head of State and Head of Military. Below him the ranks split into two sections. The Military handles the defense of the Kingdom and the State runs the managing of the Kingdom.

King: Head of State and Head of Military, he leads the Kingdom.

-Military Branch-

Grand Marshal: Commander in Chief of the military, he passes reforms, coordinates the men, and leads battles. The Grand Marshal can also declare war if the conditions are met and the King approved before hand. He also assists the King tactically and strategically.

Marshal: The prime assistant to the Grand Marshal, he makes sure things are running correctly. The Marshal also serves as head recruiter and secures a steady flow of recruits and confirms that they are being well trained.

Captain: Controls a Brigade of two squads. This is the highest achievable rank via promotion.

Lieutenant: Runs a squad of 5 men, they lead the soldiers and train Recruits. They also monitor settlements and protect them from outside forces or internal crime.

Sergeant: Helps the Lieutenant lead the squad and keeps the men in order. They also make split second decisions for the Soldiers on the battlefield.

Soldier: The backbone of the Military, they are well trained, armed, and drilled. Soldiers must have over 75 in their selected weapon skill.

Recruit: Those who are seen with potential join as recruits. They must have atleast 25 in their selected weapon skill and must train it to 75 in order to become eligible for a promotion to Soldier.

-State Branch-

Grand Justiciar: The King's personal advisor, he oversees the Kingdom's welfare and manages the internal branch. He has all the powers from each tier of rank below him.

Justiciar: The direct assistant to the Grand Justiciar, they monitor the internal affairs while the Grand Justiciar is unavailable. They also have the added power of Diplomacy, which allows them to quell tensions with other nations and negotiate peace.

Magnate: The Magnate has all abilities mentioned below with the added power to act as a judge. They solve civil disputes and overwatch the justice system. They can sentence guilty criminals to punishment. They also ensure the correct running of the Kingdom.

Kyrie: Owners of Settlements, they run them and use them productively. A similar rank in Western Nations is Lord. They are also tasked with making sure their settlement has defenses that are sufficient for the protection of the citizens there.

Steward: Assistants to the Kyries, they help them with their duties. The Stewards also have the task of selling homes and collecting taxes.

Bureaucrat: Ensures a steady flow of income to the Kingdom and makes sure that the Nation is producing adequate goods. They are in charge of monetary subjects and the economic field.

Head Craftsmen: Masters of their craft, they are in charge of overseeing the usefulness of their specific trade and making sure it is productive for the Kingdom. (Examples: Head Merchant, Head Lumberjack, Head Miner, Head Blacksmith, etc.)

PLEASE NOTE: Ranks are NOT being assigned yet. This post is merely to introductory everyone to the new system that removes the old feudal system and replaces the Nation with a more central system that focuses on Defense and Management. If you have any suggestions, please send them to me in a letter ((Forum PM)) and I'll be sure to review them. Also write me if you feel you deserve or would like a certain rank, though keep in mind the chances of actually getting it are slim. The Grand Justiciar position will be determined with a vote. If you wish to run for the position, write me aswell. Thank you!
