But war and destruction and PVP was the first thing that was turned to. Welcome to Imperialism, either abdicate or have the tower blown to smithereens. What is rude is players complaining to us and insulting our members through in-game messages and rhetorical, passive aggressive forum rants, based on absolutely nothing but the fact that two players do not want to lose their items, assets and property through legitimate, in-character role-play due to purely out-of-character reasons on their part. What is rude is players referring to us as "greedy" and "driving off players" for simply role-playing and attempting to bring conflict to the server. Conflict which is currently supported by the majority of the playerbase. Nations are falling left and right, two players and their clubhouse are nothing special. The administration is in the process of implementing a Kingdoms plug-in to facilitate the destruction of such settlements. The Subudai are laying waste to the mainland as we speak. Renatus is scorching and burning it's countryside. The Volsung intend to ravage the seas, and so far, we have the support of Renatus and two of it's Noble Houses in doing so. A size-able majority of the player-base is entertained by this sort of conflict as an attempt to both stimulate and centralize role-play. Do not speak to us of "how this could have been resolved differently in-character" when we haven't even submitted our War Claim yet. Resolve your qualms ICly by being faced by the Vikings and facing the life-changing decision of joining Renatus or risking your tower to be blown. Your complaints are shallow, if not insulting to be honest. Should we let OOC tendencies change how our characters should be developing via IC actions and IC attitudes/beliefs? So you know It's not FUN for the people in question, but it's fun for the fifty bloody soldiers left clicking two people who we're trying to do nothing but bring in a more expansive take on scholar RP. I was simply speaking. Instead of saying "RARRR Stop complaining! RAR! It's RP! Rawr!" Actually have a legitimate conversation. I was not complaining. I was making conversation. Obviously social skills and social know-how is not a very well-known thing around here. Whenever I state something here to spark intelligent conversation, I receive rage and blatant accusations that I am either crying, bitching or whining. This war claim doesn't affect me. I was starting conversation. Learn how to interact with others without attacking them verbally. It is possible to speak nicely you know. I will attempt to once more start a conversation. While others believe that Renatus and many others are capturing quite a bit of land simply to be powerful and hold onto it forever. I believe you people leading the warclaims have something much larger in plan. Perhaps some sort of mass event? What do you think about this? )) You counter Ned's intelligent counter with a mocking passive aggressive rant telling him to make intelligent conversation without insulting you. Because this isn't a fight. It's a conversation. Why does everything have to be a fight? Why does everything have to be me vs him. Or you vs them?
