Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes of course, English was my first language after all.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Well some of my hobbies are reading, role playing, minecraft, and making skins for minecraft. I joined minecraft about last year in August. I actually really enjoy swimming, which may be a bit abnormal because I live in Arizona (One of the hottest states in the U.S).

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Well I will be playing a few hours a day more on the weekends but at the least, once a day, well if the day is a normal day.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you:

Roleplaying has always reminded me of improv because of the big similarity, it also is a way to meet new people and make new friends. Lastly I would think role playing is a way to blow off steam after a long day.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I mostly have experience in forum role playing, but that is almost all the experience I have in role plays.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Meta-gaming is giving your own character information, he does not know, for example if an event happens in a forum role play and your character is not at the event or heard it and reacts to this event.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Gaming is: Power-gaming is giving your character the ability to do something to someone with-out them being able to react, for example; Droe grabs for his knife runs to the man and stabs him in the neck.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect all of what I saw in your video, many role play server plug ins, friendly and great staff, good role players, a fun server, and no griefers.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I expect all of what I saw in your video, many role play server plug ins, friendly and great staff, and having a fun time.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have.

How did you hear about us? Did someone refer you?: Well someone named Roxthesox half referred me, I saw his forum signature on Planet minecraft that said The Lord of the craft, so out of curiosity I looked it up (Guessing that it was a server) and ended up posting this application here.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Yes I have made two other applications, but unfortunately I can not link them back because I can not find them on the forums.

Character Name: Droe Cegale

What Race are you?: Human

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Northerner.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): Droe grew up in a small town. This town was mainly used for wood cutters due to the forest that was 1/5 of a mile away from it.

Droe worked his first job in this town at the local tavern, one day during his work during the night two drunk men got into a fight, one of the men pulled a knife and Droe attempted to stop the chaos, he was able to stop the fight, at the cost of his left pinky finger.

In the next few months Droe decided he should learn to read and write, he soon figured he didn't have the time at the moment because of the work he had to do. This aggravated him ,but he dealt with the problem and continued his job at the tavern.

Droe's older brother soon left to join the army and Droe thought about joining the army him self, he wasn't sure but he thought about the possibility. Droe soon decided he would not join the army, and cleared the idea from his mind.

One night while Droe walked when he was completely alone, or he thought he was. He then was jumped by an unknown man attacked him attempting to mug him, Droe thrashed around but soon was knocked out and lay unconscious on the hard gravel ground. When Droe awoke knew that man had stolen all of his minas he had carried with him, and he had just received his pay on that day.

Droe now had carried a knife on him where he went ever since the night he was mugged, and did not trust most new people he met from that point, he knew it was a bad habit to have but continued to have it.

The tavern Droe worked at was closed, leaving him jobless. Droe decided he should leave the small town he lived in and see more of the world; the day Droe left his town it was chilly and dry, he was now 25 years of age. He had no horse to travel on so he traveled on his feet.

What is your Character's ambitions?: He wishes to learn to read and write, own his own house, and to have a greater job than he used to have.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): His small knife, which he almost had to use one time but only had to pull it out to scare off some one.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? He is very good with talking to people, after meeting so many different people at the tavern he worked at for years of his life.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?

Droe walks down a small path after seeing the magnificence of the cloud temple, he then stops and sees two men that appeared to be threatening a halfing. He felt sorry for the halfing so he walks towards the group and yells "Hey, what are you doing" Droe says in a non questioning way, Droe then is ran at by one of the warriors and Droe barely dodges the running blow from the man but staggers and falls back the man then comes to him and holds him on the ground then says in a husky voice "Me and my fella' here are going to let you live as long as you leave and never cross paths with us again" Droe listened to the tempting deal but attempts to struggle out of the man's grasp grabbing for his knife. He soon feels a cold steel which he knew was his knife he pulls it out and the man sees the knife and is about to get off Droe, but he was to late Droe felt the horrible feeling of steel going through flesh and clenches his teeth, he had never enjoyed stabbing someone or something the man staggers back and Droe is able to catch the next off guard and tries to knock him on the ground but only was able to push him back he grabs the halfing by the hand and flees from the two warriors that now were chasing him. Droe finally escapes the two warriors and the halfing speaks to him and says "Thank you sir those warriors almost had all of my minas, may I know your name" Droe clears his voice and replies "My name is Droe Cegale, and try not to get robbed by more men, they almost killed me and I won't be there next time you know" Droe chuckled. The two men talked for a while and soon departed and took care of their own matters.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?

Droe looks through some wares in a stall and hears a man behind him say " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" Droe turned to see a short man in fancy clothes. Droe quickly sees a pair of clothes that he would like to have as his own "How many minas for these" he says to the man, while grabbing at the clothes he then heard the man say back to him "eighty mina' fellow" Droe thinks about the price and decides to buy another less expensive outfit, then walks off into the crowd of people.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Droe walks across the damp ground in the wilderness and admires the trees looming over him, something among the trees catches his eye and Droe notices that the shape is a small wooden hut he decides to inspect the hut so he begins to walk towards it. When Droe arrived at the hut he saw a large chest in the corner of the room of the hut and he goes to examines it. To Droe's surprise the chest was not locked but opened easily, Droe heard *click* when he opened the chest and when he looks inside he does not believe his eyes when he sees a pure golden sword and is about to grab the hilt when something impales him in the back, his vision grows fuzzy then he is unconscious on the floor.

Droe awoke in the night not sure where he was he then noticed he was in a cage. He looked around and saw another person, a woman with brown hair he was short and seemed to be unconscious in the cage. Droe looked around more and heard the sound of a fire crackling behind him, he looked back and saw a few men and more cages, he then noticed that they were most likely slavers taking him to who knows where. He checked for his knife and does not feel the blade, then mutters to himself "damn" and is immediately infuriated that he was captured, he tries to calm himself down and is able to eventually. He looks for something he can use to escape with and could not find anything to use he sighs heavily. After a few hours while Droe thought about a way to escape suddenly he sees warriors coming down the trail and the slavers draw their weapons and when the warriors arrive at the camp Droe he sees two warriors run at the tallest slaver and one of the two yell "Die, scum!" then stabs at the slaver, he tried to dodge the blow but failed and and a trail of blood began to flow from him. The warriors then slew the rest of the slavers. A warrior walked towards the cage Droe was inside and squatted down in front of the cage and Droe shows fear on his face the warrior then says to Droe "Don't worry we are here to free all of you just wait while I get this cage open." The cage soon opened and Droe steeped outside of it and said "Thank you". Droe waited for the rest of the warriors free the other captured people and saw his knife lying on the ground and reached for it then sheathed it, they soon departed from the camp.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond?

Droe continues to walk through the forest barely able to walk and sees a building in the corner of his eyes, he hurries towards it hoping for some help, when he nears it he sees a few people talking around a fire and Droe calls out to them. Then one of the men turn around and say "Who are you, state your needs here" Droe thought of how he should respond then cleared his throat and said "My name is Droe" he coughed dryly then continued "I have been lost for...for days now and have had no water since the last day." Droe saw the man's surprise on his face, then the man said to him "Fine, we will give you a bed and supplies for a day but that is all, you may stay there" he saw the man point towards a small tent, Droe then thanked the man for his generosity and leaves the people to continue to talk with each other.

Droe awoke the next day when the same man before came into the hut he stayed in and he said, "come with me we're going to get some food for you." Droe nodded and stood up from the small bed and followed the man as he walked outside the hut, Droe rubbed his eyes as they adjusted to the morning light when they stepped out side into the camp. He saw a medium sized woman cooking deer flesh on a makeshift pan and the man kissed her on the cheek when they arrived, he guessed they were married with each other. They all talked to each other as they waited for the meal too cook. She gave each of them including herself some of the food on small wooden plates. Droe tried to keep himself from eating the meal to fast but barely succeeded in this. By mid-noon Droe was given some supplies from the people at the camp and he thanked them, one of them had given him a map to get back to the nearest town. Droe thanked and said his fare wells to the people and left them.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: Droe walked through the town in the morning light and was stopped by a man that asked him in a rough voice "Hello we are going on an expedition to eliminate some bandits that have been troubling people, if you come with us you will receive some of the reward we receive" Droe thought for a brief moment but decided to go with them and responded to him"Yes I will go with you, but I will need a weapon to use" the man paused for a moment and said "Do not worry we will give a weapon to use meet us back here when the sun reaches the top of the sky and we will start off for our journey." Droe nodded and they departed.

Droe arrived back there when he was told to and saw the same man from before he also saw another man and a woman. "Good you came, here take this" the man handed a short steel sword to Droe, they then began on their way down to the road outside the town.

They saw the bandits in a small camp and planned on sneaking up on them they all signaled they were ready they then ran at the the bandits one of them noticed them and yelled "Warriors!" They then attacked the bandits and Droe fought a slime bandit. They dueled for what seemed like hours then the bandit ran away and Droe made no attempt to pursue him, half relieved that he did not have to kill him. The rest of the warriors defeated the bandits and none of them had been severely hurt and the man met before said to Droe "Good fight, eh?" Droe responded and said "Yeah", he was still breathing heavily. They all walked back to the town, standing side by side.
