"Yes, you are an idiot" both parents agreed, Thelmaras staggered back, offended deeply... He turned on his feet and warily, screamt . "You think of me as an idiot!" as they nodded, he went away running, thinking that his attempt to make the Sullas proud failed miserably, and he was hated by his parents...

From her lonely tower on the highest of heights Haelun'or has to offer, Ellir is studying. As her quill scratches the paper she throws occasional glances out from the balcony, seeing from her vantage point the safety of what she loves most of all, the Silver City. A shrill, underdeveloped voice rides upon the winds, and Ellir perks up her ears.

She knows who the child screaming is even before she looks down at the gatehouse. Ah, truly, Thelmaras is a terror, but could the offspring of Celia and Lucion be anything but?

Ellir walks down the winding paths of the Silver City's eternal college, seeing the figure of the younger Elf vanishing beyond the taller trees of Malinor. The child cannot leave; no matter the grief it is not the High Elven way. Somehow, then, must this predicament be restored.

She trails down to the caves and caverns, the furtive depths which secrets holds. Light is scarce in this place, and Ellir has to squint and run her hands along the stone face to find her way. A figure sits here, bend by torchlight over many curious volumes of forgotten lore.

"malaurir," she begins, her voice falling off the walls and pillars of temples past. "your counsel is requested."

*Altariel is sitting in the Manor that her family had recently moved to inside the city walls when she hears someone shouting outside. Her ears twitch a bit at the noise and she outside to see what the shouting was about, seeing Aunt Celia and Uncle Lucion with another child.*

"That must be their son.. I haven't had the chance to meet him yet.."

*Altariel sits down and watches the exchange, secretly hoping that the boy will come her way so she can talk to him*

What was once but pulped organic material felt weighty in his hands; another form of gravity it may well have been instead, given that by casual account the object was ordinary. Dio did not think so.

Engrossed in a time that existed beyond memory, it would have been easy to fail noticing the shuffling feet echoing along the dark pathways, were it not for the acoustic qualities that amplified the sound. Paying close attention to the noise, he relaxes as the customary light nature of Elven movement reaches his ears. Choosing to continue perusing the scriptures, a familiar voice drains the rest of the tension from Dio's posture.

Taking a moment to carefully replace the revered item, he turns to face the direction of the words, paying Ellir undivided attention. When Dio was saught for counsel, he had come to assume the matter gravely important. He would not be disappointed.
