Cappy 1599 Share Posted June 16, 2012 It still happens, it is because of the player base being spread out that you rarely see villans, or even people for that matter. The cloud temple always has role-play. And there are quite a few villains hanging around too.
gabriel101x1 463 Share Posted June 16, 2012 The cloud temple always has role-play. And there are quite a few villains hanging around too. I am often hanging around the cloud temple (due to dying all the time because of mob lag) and the last time I saw a villan was on my first day on the server. And that was in the elven town that used to be north of the cloud temple.
Cappy 1599 Share Posted June 16, 2012 Perhaps what you mean is you haven't seen a villain doing anything villainous. I know myself and another villain both spend much time around there, and I've seen countless others around. But villainous role-play is very common around there, perhaps you've been unlucky. Actually I have been asked to stop doing villainous activity around there. The next best place to find villains is to find where there are free fast trava to. Ferebrill 14 Share Posted June 18, 2012 I don't quite understand your question. Are you askig what was the more behind it and how that lore worked wih Aegis? Are you asking how it worked in how we got there? Are you askig for a better understanding of what it was? I mean how did we use it to get from Aegis to Asulon
no longer active 734 Share Posted June 18, 2012 The verge contained the docks from which we boarded ships. From there we sailed into the ocean and onto Asulon.

Kilgrim 361 Share Posted June 18, 2012 If i were in charge of maling a map for the next move, it would be 1 major landmass, with each of the 4 races placed around a center piece of the continent. In the center of te map would be resources that each race doesnt have. Therefore creating central conflict fightin for resources. Think of it as the cornocopia in the hunger games. But it would be a lot larger and not have chests holding supplies. There would be prebuilt cities and they wouldnt have to be destroyed. Could RP that we sent people to build our cities while prepared to move. Something like that or w/e. Also, for those people who enjoy pvp, i would want a mechanic that many popular MMORPG's have, Battlegrounds. Instead of setting up warclaims all of the time, you could set up battleground where people fought against eachother based on race. And if this new LOTC client thing vaq promissed comes out you could add a hotkeyed interface in which u queue for a BG. Also, a new map could be a good time to add factions. 2 races VS two races and constantly at war. I know its not a PVP server but without conflict constantly the server is just stale, im not going to lie. Thats why the undead is coming bak most likley and these lich things popped up, blood mages, they create a dynamic feeling of hysteria where people of frightened of being attacked. So theres something to ponder on and gove feedback about :) P.S. I did this all on my iphone sorry for any mis-spellings etc.
Hiebe 2493 Author Share Posted June 18, 2012 A major conflict should be war. Everyone is too buddy buddy. Hell the orcs and dwarves have great rp and thats cause of our war.

bickando 3967 Share Posted June 20, 2012 Why not, and this is just a suggestion, have the big kingdom, and, inside that, there are race factions that are constantly overpowering and/or attacking each other? there would still be a racial conflict and these would be in the county kind of thing that Oren has. That way its easier to find rp. Each race would have a section in the big country and have a minigovernment. The map that was drawn up looked a LOT like lord of the rings, which is why its called lord of the craft. Huh. Anyways, charters should have to have more people, like villages=10, towns=20, cities=30 kind of thing. A reason to move to another continent, would be because of the earlier-mentioned flooding, or, with the extra races, they form an alliance like Original vs. New. This way the new country could be established, but each race still retains its own attributes. The Spawn could be in a new cloud temple somewhat offset from the center, and the center would be the capital everyone fights for to establish dominance. Yeh?
