Hey Asulon,

I want to make a deal with YOU. Yes, I’m talking to YOU, YOU who is a member of the Lord of the Craft community.

I’ve been developing for Lord of the Craft for almost a year now, and I’ve loved every minute of it. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank not just me, but our entire GM, FM, Application Team, Villain Application Team, Lore Masters, Media Team, and other seniority staff for all the amazing work they do day in and day out, dedicating themselves to this community.

With that being said, school has just gotten out for the majority of people (including me!) and it’s time to rip the internet up and move ourselves up toward the pedestal of RP we know we have! What do I mean by this? Well let me lay things out in plain English:

• WE. NEED. VOTES.
  
• WE. NEED. REVIEWS.
  
• WE. NEED. DIRECTED TRAFFIC.
  
• WE. NEED. PROMOTION.
  

I can code some pretty amazing things, but I’m only one person; we need an entire community to accomplish these goals. I need YOU to take the ‘minecraft’ portion of the internet by storm. I’ve spent a few days now collecting analytic traffic data, and determined the most efficient ways to get Lord of the Craft more widely known; methods that can only be successful if YOU want them to be.

We’ve updated our Voting and Social Center sections of our website with new links to make this assault as easy for you all as possible. Just hit the “vote” button and a dropdown menu with links to voting sites will appear. Everything else will be listed under our social center. Here’s what you need to do:

Once a lifetime (or account):

• 
  
  
• Like us on Facebook.
  
• Follow us on twitter.
  
• Smack the Google +1 button on our main page.
  
• Subscribe to us on YouTube.
  
  

Once a month:

• 
  
  
• Submit some let’s plays or video footage of LOTC to our YouTube channel.
  

Once a week:

• 
  
  
• Leave a positive comment on Minestatus.
  
• Leave a positive comment on Planet Minecraft.
  
• Leave a positive comment on Minecraft-Server-List.
  
• These comments can all be the same, just write it up once and C&P; I.E. write a quick 2-4 sentence summary of the server and why people should join.
  
• Make a post on facebook to your friends about Lord of the Craft.
  
• Check out our YouTube channel for new videos, like them and leave a meaningful comment!
  

Every 24H:

• 
  
  
• Vote on Minestatus.
  
• Vote on Planet Minecraft.
  
• Vote on Minecraft-Server-List.
  
• Vote on MCServerList.
  
• Vote on MinecraftServers.net
  
• Vote on MinecraftServers.org
  
• Leave a positive comment on our Minecraft Forums thread. (“bump” it).
  

Every 12H:

• 
  
  
• Vote on XtremeTop100. Your vote only goes through if after you click “vote” it redirects you to the front page.
  
• Send out a tweet talking about @lordofthecraft.
  

As much as you can:

• 
  
  
• Recruit / Refer friends you think would fit into our community. A full referral system will be implemented soon.
  
• Stay active on our forums, update your statuses often about what YOU’RE doing in LOTC!
  
• Anything else you can think of that will help us get known to the world.
  
• Smack ANY Google+ buttons you see on our pages, this is done by simply clicking in the middle of the “google+” image under social center. It helps our search ratings on google DRAMATICALLY.
  

I know some of you may be looking at this list and laughing to yourself that you would never take the time out of your day to do so much work, right? Well I’ll tell you what; I know from monitoring our traffic that we get over 4,000 unique visits to our site every day. I want that number to reach 10,000 unique visitors, which is a very realistic goal if we follow this plan. So here’s the deal I want to make with all of you, the day we reach 10,000 unique visitors to our site, I will release Patch 3.0 and a custom, LOTC-exclusive game client.

So, let’s get to it shall we?
