Mithradites 1168 Share Posted June 16, 2012 Lucion Sullas walks past the notice carrying another ornate scroll from the Kharajyr. The decorated paper catches his eye as he marches past, and, as per his usual custom, he reads it thoroughly. Staring at it for several seconds, he runs his hand through his gray hair and says: "I am not in the mood for this today." He swiftly pivots on his heel and heads to the library, hoping he could find some peace and quiet.

Sporadic 2844 Share Posted June 16, 2012 Ellir'siol, long-missing and long-standing resident of the pristine Silver City, took a fair time to find the collection of notes that had piled up like a referendum. When she did, however, she sighed deeply. She knew right away it was Kolyat who had started this affair, as only just before he had outed his laments towards Celia and vouched it was time for action, as well as various less-tasteful outings that she'd rather not think about. Considering the situation, however, she had no choice but to speak her mind, and stand directly against one of her oldest friends in the process. She begins by taking out her quill, dipping it in a convenient carrier flask of ink, and drawing a harsh line through the erroneous 'u' in 'tilruir', presenting the correct 'i' above it. Mali'aheral, Oem: let us not forget that those who are not acknowledged Citizens as per the reform should not have their votes tallied in any referendum that holds sway. Such has been the way it was in a united and pure Haelun'or, and such will be the way towards I motion we strive. Niut: the carrier of the motion is Mali'thill linir'ehya Kolyat Alfakyn, patriarch of the Alfakyn bloodline. Today is not a day to hide the man behind the motion. Were the scenario different, I would let anonymity reign for the duration of this knifepoint referendum, but I have recognized sanan'Kolyat towards Celia as "miar'sae": spiteful. His reason and impartiality is up to severe questioning. Kolyat has come to me asking counsel, and in the walk of events he began to discuss the perceived injustice Celia has done upon the city. Celia, soon, had found us discussing her, and patiently offered to hear out the words Kolyat had to say. Kolyat Alfakyn, creator of this barely-lawful referendum, proceeded to out rhetorically his grief with her, stating unproven and unsalted opinion as fact, and ran out, claiming action and harsh resolve, before allowing Celia Sullas the fair chance to defend herself. In the process, he insulted her with words I dare not repeat here, lest I insult your pure eyes by exposing you to the same filth mine were. How hypocritical to claim, furthermore, that Celia has overstepped her boundaries as tilruir while it is in fact him who calls off a referendum against one of the station on his own, without consulting first with the servant designated for such matters, the tilruir'Mali. Truly, if we believe justice is on Kolyat's side, he would resort to the proper measure instead of instantly gratifying himself with populism and outrageous claims without backing, merely try to appeal to the masses. Mali; lliran, my trust is shaken upon seeing the way us Elves act upon each other now. Once we were a mighty city, with bustling streets, lively trade and deep tavern discussion. Now, we turn upon each other, lament the bandits and forget the standards which we once upheld: Equality, camaraderie and unity for every single Mali'aheral. This matter shall be worked out. I will vote a firm no, confident in the fact that as soon as his motion fails, Kolyat will offer his overdue apologies to the tilruir'acaln in question. El Ricktador 1394 Share Posted June 16, 2012 Rei moves about in the shadows of Haelun'or, moving swiftly. He wears his black cloak, his face covered in the shadow of the hood. His mohawk is down as he's been feeling ill and did not feel to style his hair. He speaks softly and to himself, "They appear to be too busy fighting eachother.....confused children, completely unaware of the darkness that will soon fall upon the Silver City..." He smiles, chuckling softly.

Mercury199 86 Author Share Posted June 16, 2012 As Celia sees Kolyat's note she chuckles darkly. "Changing the original post, are you now Kolyat?" Celia making Foolish un-supported claims, will achieve nothing. And how could I possibly have changed a letter written in ink and never removed it from the board ? Well I don't know that is for sure. -Kolyat Alfakyn
