501warhead 1796 Share Posted August 3, 2011 Question, Slayer, should we be accepted to be a magician, and we join the guild, are we still allowed to be part of other orginizations?(Such as say one of the leaders of a workforce/guard/or military faction) Or would mages that join have to be devoted utterly and completly to the guild and training new and aspiring magicians? My character is basically a travelling scholar, learning from library to library (for now), so perhaps some magical training would be perhaps workable into him... I'll carry on as I have been thus far, learning the lore of Aegis in drips and drabs, then perhaps attempt to join this guild to learn more of the world. After all... Naturally anything with wizards will have an EPIC library! (seriously. It's like the number one law of magic. Yes people will be able to have other jobs etc... However they are required to visit the tower every now and then to check in and see if there is stuff to do etc... Share stories bla bla bla. However the mages studying at the main tower must be fully devoted. The application stuff should be up soon. I would imagine when magic come out. Or a little before (as I will probably not be online with time zones). Just remember you will likely only have one shot at the application process, otherwise people will keep trying and then everyone will have magic eventualy... Which would ruin the RP and we would end up removing it. It will be a tough process and only the best will get in. But there will be quite a lot of people who will have magic, and being in the guild is optional, although I would like it if all magic people were in it as the guild is sort of the government for magic people. Sagwort 833 Share Posted August 4, 2011 I see one of the main reasons I have sent in a application (yet to be accepted) was because i wanted to join the sages although now that i see the mages i think there alot cooler so count me in as a definet canidate for you mage guild.
