Ancora (pandalex12) 20 Share Posted June 18, 2012 No-rp kill = Allowed to go back and get items Why would you lower it to 1%? Can't you lower it by 20% of its total, like the minas one? Seems pretty unrealistic for a solid diamond sword, popular for it being the hardest material being brought down to 1% from 100%, just my two cent :)
Clausij 0 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Yeah, with a chance to fail. But also a chance to succeed!
Cyndikate 2303 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Poor Notch, not even his project now :( I totally agree with you there.
lugarthecougar 57 Share Posted June 18, 2012 People going back to where they died before 30 minutes to regain their items is the most basic and fundemental way of breaking the 30 minute rule. The hotbar option seems like the most fair to players while still upholding the server rules.
Ancora (pandalex12) 20 Share Posted June 18, 2012 ^Agree only if it was a legit rp kill and not one of an accidental cause.
Space 2335 Share Posted June 18, 2012 I think if you're killed by a mob you should get your things back. Or anything other then another player.
Ancora (pandalex12) 20 Share Posted June 18, 2012 One extra point; people won't complain AS much when they die :
Twilight Druid 188 Share Posted June 18, 2012 To be honest I hate loosing books because I didn't see a mob hiding in the shadows
Snake Plissken 637 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Personally, I'm happy with how death works now and don't see any reason to change it.

Salamandra 1136 Share Posted June 18, 2012 My personal favorite is the "keep things in your hotbar". Sure, you die and most of your belongings the monks would have to drop in order to carry you back to the Cloud Temple, only leaving you with a few belongings, but you DO get to keep something. I like that one best~
Suika 111 Share Posted June 18, 2012 It's been very hard for me to start out on this server. Dieing always made it harder, but with items disappearing it makes it all the more hard. I'm still poor and I've been on this server for 9 months now. It's just very very hard to start out on this server, I think it should be easier to start out, I like the idea of "keep things in the hotbar"
no longer active 734 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Original MC, seems best to me. Though if possible maybe the death chest plugin as the monks have to do something with your items.
Alzonias 0 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Personally, I do get upset when I lose everything, but it is just a game right? And it makes way more sense to lose everything in RP... But one thing I don't agree with (Has nothing to do with this poll) Is the lost of x% Of your minas on death, because personally it bugs me that I can't leave my money at home and instead have to carry bags of coins on me at all time (It really weighs me down!) but that's just me... I'd rather have minas be just another item in your inventory where as you can store them but you will lose all the ones you have on you on death, that's just my personal opinion, feel free to disagree. xmrsmoothx 317 Share Posted June 18, 2012 Where is my option for 'all items are kept on death'? If there's something special in the inventory of the killed that needs to be dropped - great, roleplay exists, use it! Otherwise; if a monk can drag a five-hundred-pound orc back to the temple, they sure as hell can drag my character's sword.
