In your own words, define what the act of Roleplaying is:

Roleplaying is literally taking the role of somebody outside of yourself and giving them a personality of their own.

In your own Words, define what the act of Metagaming is:

Metagaming is taking information from an out-of-character source and using it and/or taking it as common knowledge in-character.

EX from TS: Austin: “I stole all the cookies from your house!”

Me: “Noooooo!”

Now, I wouldn’t know Austin stole the cookies in-character so I couldn’t confront him about until I found out he was the one who stole my cookies in-character.

In your own Words, define what the act of Powergaming is:

Powergaming is basically making your character unbeatable. Either by way of ultimate strength, amazing magical prowesses without limitations, or a power that gives you an unbeatable edge over another player. It may also be abusing game mechanics that are in minecraft.

As an Orc I can understand this since most of the time, what I am doing may be considered borderline powergaming and I have to try and balance myself quite often.

In-Character:

Character Name:

Dakr’Ugluk

What Race are you?:

Orc

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Goblin

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Dakr the Goblin was born in the sands of Strigzgoi as a bastard of the mighty Wargoth and old Rex, Pok’Ugluk. Born to a mother of Elven blood, his father had little to no interest for him. As his mother grew disgusted by his green skin and short stature, she began to ignore him and did not care for him.

Dakr starved as a child, learning to thrive off the scraps of what other people had. He, like most Goblins, enjoyed playing with the magical properties of redstone and other contraptions. He had many drawings of boats, weapons, gates, and buildings scattered throughout his tiny room in his mother’s tree.

As his mother forgot about him, Dakr decided it was time to find his father. Dakr knew that it would be hard to be accepted again by his father, but he had already mastered the “Blah” and commonly interacted with a majority of the Orcs so that he would be better suited for living in Strigzgoi with his father. Dakr quickly gathered all his drawings and designs from his room and stuffed them into a tiny leather sack. Dakr set off for Strigzgoi with his few belongings, his ears shaking in nervousness.

Surprisingly, Pok greeted his son with open arms, but as soon as Dakr was settled in the War Uzg, he was put to work designing weapons, making gates, and crafting weapons for his father.

Dakr was never rewarded for his work, and still isn’t to this day, however he enjoys doing work for his father as he is accepted by him, the only thing he strives for in life.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Dakr is always striving to please his father. As a bastard, he wishes to show that as a Goblin, he is just as good as any of Pok’s other children. He also wishes to work his way up to High Yazgurtan, but knows that it may be impossible because he is so underappreciated by his Orcish superiors.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?:

Dakr would immediately find a hiding place and watch from afar.

“Wub ah tuupid ‘alflin! Dakr nub dum dum, Dakr nub gu tu klomp meen shara...”

Dakr watches as the bandits try to rob the Halfling and sighs as they begin to kick at him. He knows he is not capable of taking him on, and since he is near the Cloud Temple, finding decent warriors to try and scare the thieves away would take too long and only end badly.

As the Halfling is lying on the ground and the assailants run away from the Halfling, Dakr approaches the Halfling and tosses him a few pieces of bread, “Dakr zurreh Dakr nub ‘elp lat tineh toez. Dakr kan nub klomp tu meen shara...”

The Halfling looks up at Dakr and begins to speak, but Dakr quickly scurries off, knowing that his father would not approve of him talking to a Halfling.

“Dakr hab lotz ob tingz fur mizta merkhent!”

“Oh ho! Goblin, show me your wares!”

“Dakr hab zult [[sword]] dat ah nub gruk ‘ow tu uze. Lat vunt tu buy id?” Dakr holds the heavy sword over his head so the merchant can see it. The blade is of the finest diamond and it is still fresh with no signs of usage.

“This be a mighty fine piece of weaponry ye ‘ave ‘ere! ‘ere! I’ll give ye’ nine ‘undred minas fer this ‘ere blade Goblin!”

Dakr beams in excitement as he hands over the blade and receives his payment, he quickly skips home, knowing that he must give his earnings to his father so that he may be a bit more appreciated by him.

The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Dakr hobbles out of his small room in the local inn, seeing that guards and townsfolk gathering in the square. Finding his way through a sea of knees he walks up to the head guardsmen. He tugs on his chain leggings and looks up at him. The man looks down and says, “Goblin, a few bandits have been terrorizing the townsfolk for some time now. We are tasked with taking care of them, would you like to help?”

Dakr waves his hands in the air frantically and begins to shreik. “Nub! Nub! Dakr nub ah klompa! Dakr mayke tingz! Dakr nub kan klomp byg meen shara!”

The head guardsman looks down at Dakr and shakes his head, quickly turning and asking somebody else with a more able body to go get the bandits.

Dakr looks down, bumping into multiple shins and knees as he returns to his small room in the inn and sulks down onto his bed before falling asleep, knowing that if his father knew that he had not chosen to fight the bandits.
