Conquest is the act of military subjugation of an enemy by force of arms. In other words it is the de jure incorporation of some territory into another geo-political entity (either adjacent or non-contiguous). Usually, it is implied that the territory and population being annexed is the smaller, more peripheral, and weaker of the two merging entities, barring physical size.

Opposing Faction: Bolin {Goldrim} - Gorgul {Havenok}

Defending Faction: The unknown Merchant {Troy_N_Blake} and any other unexpected forces.

Name of the battle: Fishing In Polluted Waters

Location: Cloud Temple Docks {littlefootshoppe}

Time, (at least 5 days warning): July 3rd, 2 AM for Europeans, 12 AM for Australians, and 8 PM for Americans.

Terms: mano-a-mano, no potions or enchanted items.

Rewards: region/biome swaps ownership

Previous Roleplay here.

"I did not wish it had come to this" Bolin sighs, looking down at what they call "Sushi", the raw fish rotting in the stalls as a Dark Elf wanders inside the tent, grabbing one of the fish as he lobs a coin onto the counter, Bolin asks the man questionably "Why would you eat that? It has been laying there exposed to the sun for days.", the man shrugs his shoulders absentmindedly as he takes a bite from the fish, oddly enough he seems to enjoy the half rotten fish, Bolin shakes his head slowly as he wanders off into the distance

He then returns with another piece of papyrus, nailing it down over his previous note as it reads the following. "It seems that you have ignored my last request, face me Merchant, give up your product or you shall face the consequences! -Bolin"

Gorgul's RP reasoning for continuing the conquest is below in a quote.

Gorgul growls to himself.

He also saw the fishing tent as a safety hazard and generally an unfit shop for fishing to be advocated. But by no means would he let his rival fisherman, the wise Bolin, to take what he thought was his. With a sword in hand and buckler, he sought out to further fight for this tent, to claim it for the War Nation, and preserve his own fishing prices. He was instructed by a Targoth to insure the prices of regions near Cloud Temple to remain at roughly the same price, and by letting a rival fisherman assume a tent, the price of goods in the War Nation would plummet.

Gorgul had to get involved.

( I want to join in this. )

Is all confused on what the orc is saying.

Me mean no harm on what ye' wanted me fish is fresh and always stocked each day wit' new fishys. Me no want to hurt you and me no want to loose me shop, but ye' want to hurt me and me shop for something that ye' lie about. Me products are alright and ye' have no right to take over me things. So me will stop selling this 'yucky' fish. And me cook them from now on. Please no hurt me, me no sell raw things no more.

Despite the words that the peaceful trader muttered, Gorgul was still angered. Not only was this man an extreme compietion, but he still had the insolence to act in such way. Gorgul approaches the trader and mutters

"Latz iz zteelin mi buiznezz, agh zelling bad produckt. Eidder mi agh latz wurk togedder, latz giving mi ability to buy agh sell dere, owning dah zhopz, zu latz wurk under mi, or latz pay dah price. Latz myde dah miztake agh latz force me to compete wid latz fer pricing. Fer da War Uzg, mi muzt conquest latz shop"

( Basically, you can work under me in RP, or I will seize the tent, because I was given instruction to control all food pricing near the Cloud Temple to avoid compietion against the Orc trade camp. So yea, the warclaim still has impact. )

( Who is the new owner? It doesn't really change the decision of the war-claim unless it is someone we know )

((The RP reason for the War claim is now void. You will have to make a new War claim with a new RP reason for taking it over.))

[Erm...I thought they wanted the shop, not the person? Sorry, I probably derped and missed something, but I thought they wanted the shop.]

( yea rp reasoning still holds. The orcs wish to monitor all prices in the region and see you as bad compietion. They will march as they still want the stall. )

OOC: I'm not sure thats true the post claims this fights about rotting fish not about taking customers from the orcs. Maybe you could edit your post and for a second the D'Hara's stale does not sell fish.

IC: Sighs at it all "God more stress for me how troubling."

((This War claim is from Goldrim and its supposed to be one on one with Troy_n_Blake. If the war clam is changing to include you, then Goldrim must state it. Other wise you need to make your own war claim as your post under Goldrims was not in proper format and not a proper warclaim. I will be more than happy to accept a warclaim from you with proper format and RP reason since The D'Haran shop does not sell food))

{ War claim is still in effect, I have just updated the original post and Gorgul seems to have his reasons in attempting to conquer that region. Former competitor Gorgul is now his trustworthy ally as Bolin has took him under his wing, he gathers fish and other various goods in order for Bolin to make his Sooshi for the betterment of others. Bolin will most likely aid Gorgul unless convinced otherwise.
