How much time could you be on the server weekly?: most weeks i could be on 10 to 20 hours, some weeks more.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you: Roleplaying is a story that you help create yourself along with other people. it's almost like a complete other life you control.

What experience have you had in Roleplaying, if any?: I've played many rpg and mmorpg games, though none that i make the storyline up myself. this will definitely be different than what i'm used to.

In your own Words, define what the act of Meta-Gaming is: Before filling out this application, I had no idea what Meta-gaming was. From what I have read, it is when you use information you got from another source that gives you an advantage over everyone else.

In your own Words, define what the act of Power-Emoting is: same as Meta-gaming, I had no idea what Power-emoting was before this application as well. After reading up on it, I believer i have a basic understanding of it. Power-emoting is forcing an event on another player in which they don't have a chance to respond to it, like "Player_1 stabs Player_2. Player_2 dies instantly." player_1 is power-emoting player_2 in that situation because player_2 couldn't make a reply to player_1's actions.

What do you expect this server will be like?: Honestly, I have no idea what to expect. This will be a new method of RPG that I'm not used to, but I am hoping that it will be lots of fun. :)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: Rpg wise servers, none. though I have played a few other plain survival servers, as well as quest based servers like Savage Realms. Besides Savage Realms, I play Minecraft Survival Games and a small vanilla server that my brother and I play on. I haven't actually left any of those servers, though I have gone pretty un-active on S.R. due to the lag in my town. it was just a little irritating. But I'm still very active on MCSG.

How did you hear about us?: I went on to the Minecraft forums in search of a new server to join.

Have you previously made an Application? If so could you link us to your last Application?: Yes, this is my second attempt. And I can’t link to my last application, as it got deleted already. D: I still have the points that the moderator said that needed to be changed though. they are at the bottom of the application.

Character Name: Caelik Eytherighymn (Mighty-Archer of The-Forests-of-The-Forgotten-Ways)

What Race are you? (You may only be Human, Orc, Elf or Dwarf!) : Elf

What Sub-Race are you? (note, you aren’t required to have a sub-race): Wood elf.

Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): In a small village hidden within the High Northeast forests, a Wood Elven couple discovered themselves with child. The whole village was ecstatic from the news, and held a celebration for the coming of a new young member to their town. Months later, The Wood Elfess gave birth to Caelael Eytherighymn. But, to the village’s surprise, another little elf was born, Caelik. Never has their family, nor any other, heard of twin elves ever occurring. The village celebration began once again for this miracle taking place.

A century passed in quiet solitude for the small village. The twin elves grew and learned of the noble history of Asulon and the Elven Nation. While Caelael learned from the village elders of the traditions and crafts, Caelik began hunting and learning to fight from the village guardians and hunters. Not many passers-by ventured deep enough into the forest to discover the village. But the few travelers who found it brought many stories of heroics and adventures from throughout the land of Asulon that pulled at Caelik and Caelael’s curiosity of the world around them. Though hesitant, their community supported their willingness to travel the realm of Asulon and experience all that could be offered. After a few more years of preparation, the Miracle Twins set out on their journey.

What are your Character's ambitions?: Caelik, with his brother Caelael, wishes to fully experience the world unknown to them. Caelik wants to meet as many new people as he possibly can, for being in a small village, there weren't many people to meet for the first time. He wishes to find a small place to set up as a main home to come back to after the many adventures in store for him.

What is your character’s favorite tool? (sword, pickaxe, shovel, etc): Caelik's tools of choice are the bow and arrow. Caelik's and Caelael's father is an expert marksman, and he wishes to follow in his footsteps. Though he is not the perfect shot, he is very skilled and is always improving.

What is one of your Character's most skilled talents? One of Caelik’s skills is deception/trickery. Having a twin brother that looks so similar, it allowed him to play many tricks on the fellow villagers. With his brother at his side, they are able to confuse those around them into believing there is only one of them, making getting through certain obstacles much easier, or to play harmless pranks on friends.

Another skill of Caelik's is archery. He was taught by his father at a very young age on how to properly hold and shoot a bow and arrow. Although he was still in training when he left the village, he was well along the path to becoming an expert marksman. He now must work on his own to finish his training.

Other Information about your Character: He tends to get sidetracked when meeting new people. He also really enjoys messing with his brother, Caelael.

Open-Response-Questions

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond? I grab my brother and drag him behind a near tree. “Caelael, sneak around to the other side of those two harassing that halfling. If things get rough, we must be prepared.” As he wisks away in the woods, I step back out onto the path. I yell to the warriors, "Hey! Don't harass that halfling!" They turn to me, yelling, “And how do you suppose you are going to stop us?” One of the warriors starts running towards me. I take out my bow and aim for the warrior, hitting him dead center in his chest. Before I have a chance to set another arrow, the second warrior is upon me. As the warrior is about to strike, he freezes for a moment, then falls at my feet. As I look up from the fallen warrior, I see my brother, Caelael, with is Axe wielded and bloody from attacking the warrior from behind.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response? "Hello there, good sir! My brother and I are looking for new outfits, as the ones we are wearing have been worn down from many days of wear. Do you have any clothes that might fit?" The merchant smiles wide and says, “Why yes I do! I just received some very fine leather tunics that would look fantastic on both of you!” I reply, “That’s wonderful! just bring those out and we will gladly purchase them.”

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?: I wander around the small hut, looking for any signs that someone still lives here. I see a map on the table that shows what appears to be a small village in the woods not far from here. As I step around a bookshelf I find a man on a bed that looks as though he is very ill and cannot move. I call out to my brother, “Caelael! get in here now!” My brother steps in from outside. “This man looks very sick. I won’t feel right if we leave and not help him recover. I will go to a village near here and get some medicine. Stay with him and try to get him to eat some of out food while I am gone.” I quickly grab the map and head to the village. Once there, I locate the Herbalist. “Excuse me, Ma’am, I need to get some strong medicine. My brother and I found a man bedridden in the woods not too far from here” The herbalist replies, “Oh my, how kind of you to help a stranger. Here, take this. It should help that man recover very quickly. No charge to you.” “Thank you very much, Ma’am. I won’t forget your kindness.” I run back to the small hut, go to the man, and help him intake the medicine. Caelael and I stay for a few days to help him recover enough to get back on his feet.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you you in the common tongue, how do you respond? I say, "Hello there. Might any of you be selling or trading food? We have been lost inthe wilderness for quite some time and we need to eat soon." A man steps forward, “My family owns the local shop. We sell everything that you might need to continue on your journey. I can take you there if you’d like.” “Yes, please,” I reply. “Do you have weapons for sale as well? I have become low on arrows and my brother’s axe has worn down.” The man says, “Yes, we do have weapons for sale! high quality, too. I’m sure you’ll like what you find.”

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?: I tell the leader, “I’ll help take down those Bandits. How can I help?” The leader replies, “Great! We need all the help we can get. what weapon do you favor?” “I use bow and arrow for my weapon.” The leader says,”Ok, I will need you to stay in the woods next to the path in order to give us cover should we face difficulty with the bandits. They will not be an easy group to defeat, understand?” I reply,”I understand. I will do my best to help stop them.”

My brother's account name is Onikaton123. We collaborated on many of the answers, as being twins and choosing elves as our race, we feel like it would be necessary to stay together most of the time, which would make our actions very similar in the RP. Hope to see you all in game soon!
