Biography (Please make this at least 2 paragraphs long. This must include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

It all started one late night, in a small human village. Small infant shrieks could be heard out on the streets. A few people peeked out their windows to see the source of the noise, but only one human did something about it. Randy, the local lumberjack quickly trotted out into the street to pick up a small open box that the cries were coming from. He took the box back into his home to deal with. Once he was onside, he took a closer look at the infant. He discovered that it was a small dark elf that was crying. Randy lifted the dark elf out of the box and set him on the table. When he was about to throw the box out, something caught his eye. There was a small note sitting in the box. Randy took the note and read through it.

This elf is Durion. Please take good care of him and raise Durion as you would a son of your own.

The note was unsigned. After a while of thinking about the note, the cries brought Randy back to reality. He set the note down and began to study Durion. It took a while, but eventually the cries stopped. Randy decided that moment that he would care for and raise Durion like a son of his own, just as the note said.

Over the many years, as Durion grew older, he developed a light human accent. He has light gray, shaggy hair. His skin tone is dark and he has red eyes. He is a bit short but is in good shape with a strong build. Durion’s greatest skills are obviously with an axe because Randy’s profession is a lumberjack. He could chop down trees with ease as well as using an axe as a weapon. As Durion aged from a child, Randy taught him everything he knows about using an axe and everything else in a lumberjack’s field of knowledge.

Durion’s life was as normal as a dark elf living in a human village could be. Or at least it was before the one day that changed his life forever. Durion was out in the tree farm, hacking down a tree when the alarm bell begins ringing throughout the village, accompanied by a shouting voice “Oren approaches! Oren approaches!” He sees his caregiver, Randy grab the nearest axe and charge to meet the attackers. Durion watched for a moment before an arrow pierced Randy’s skull, and he drops dead. Other defenders that show to have weapons are also slain. At first, Durion doesn’t know if he should stay and fight, or run. He finally decides that he will probably die if he stays to fight, so he takes his axe and a picture of him and Randy and runs out of the city. He turned to see more people being killed. At the sight of his village, and the image of Randy, he vowed to himself that someday, somehow, he would get revenge on the ones that are responsible. He turned from the scene and began walking in a direction leading away from his village. For now, his largest worry,is surviving.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Durion’s ambitions are to get revenge on the people that killed his caregiver, Randy. He knows that the people that killed him were a part of the Kingdom of Oren. Durion is also determined to discover who his real parents are and why they just left him in the human village.

A screenshot of your skin (must be in proper format):

Other Information about your Character:

Durion is very skilled with an axe from the many years he spent as an apprentice to the lumberjack, Randy. He has started training himself with a bow after he left his village, to be able to attack things from a distance. He isn’t very good, but he is still learning.

Open-Response-Questions

Answer at least three out of five listed!

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small Halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?:

-----

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well-dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?:

“Oh, ummm. Nothing, I don’t have any minas.” Durion says with a sad expression.

“No?” He says staring into Durion's depressed eyes. “ Well how about this, ye tell me one item, any item, and ye can have it for free!” The man says.

Durion immediately loses the sad look and says “You would do that for me?” in a surprised tone.

The man looking confused at the rapid mood change says “Aye…O-of course.” Very slowly.

“Can I have a bow and some arrows?” Durion asks now very excited.

The man opens up a chest and removes a bow in perfect condition, and a quiver of arrows. “Here ye are.”

Durion takes the bow and arrows and has an ear-to-ear smile on his face. “Thank you mister!” He says as he walks away from the stall.

Whilst wandering in the wilds, your character comes across a small hut, which looks abandoned. Inside it you see a chest containing a few iron bars, and a golden sword. How would your character respond?:

Durion moves in to take a closer look at the contents of the chest. He looks around to be sure no one is watching him. Once he is sure he is alone, he takes the iron bars and places them in his bag. He leaves the sword there, because his choice of weapon is an axe, not a sword. As he begins to leave, he hears footsteps outside the hut.

“I can’t believe they didn’t sell glass.” A faint, unknown voice says.

“I would have expected they sell more items.” A second voice says, clearly disappointed.

Durion quickly looks for a way to escape, and the only place that he sees is where the window should be; the way he came in. While he was trying to think of a better plan, he could hear a key rattling in the door. He takes a running start and leaps through the window, landing with a thud.

“What was that?” One of the voices says, now in the hut.

“I have no idea.” The other voice says.

Durion jumps to his feet and runs into a bush. He can see a head peak out the window looking around. Finding nothing, the head returns into the house.

Hungry and lost in the wilderness, you stumble across a small trading camp nestled among the forest, they greet you in the common tongue, how do you respond?:

“H-how much do the pork c-chops cost?” Durion asks.

“Pork chops are 10 minas.” The man who seems to be running the camp says.

“W-will you accept a few iron b-bars instead? I don’t have any minas.” He says in a somewhat scared tone.

“I suppose I will. How many do you have?” The same man asks.

Durion looks in his bag and counts four iron bars. “I have four.”

“I’ll give you eight pork chops for the four bars.” The man offers.

“Alright.” Durion takes the iron bars and hands them over to the man. In exchange, he gives Durion eight pork chops. “Thank you sir.” The man nods and Durion continues on his way.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guards have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offers their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Durion walks up to go talk to the leader of the party.

“How can I help with the bandits?” Durion asks.

The leader turns to him and replies, “Are you trained with any weapons?”

“I’m good with my axe and I’ve been training to learn how to use a bow, though I’m not very good yet.” Durion tells the leader.

“We’re short on archers, so why don’t you get up in a tree and help pick ‘em off?” The leader asks.

“Alright.” Durion gets his bow and arrows ready and starts climbing a tree near the side of the road. Once he thinks he is high enough, he stops and waits for orders to attack. Once he hears the leader shout “Attack!” he begins to let arrows fly. He completely misses all of his targets at first, but begins to get closer to hitting the enemies. He begins to take his time aiming. Once he has his arrow aimed at his target almost perfectly, a loud CRACK! comes from the branch he’s sitting on. Just as he’s about to let the arrow loose, the branch breaks completely, sending him plummeting to the ground. The last thing he remembers is watching the ground fly up towards him.
