The Red Huntings

(( All the occurances of Red Hunters I've encountered so far have been massive failures at attempted powergaming. Clean up the roleplay or don't do it at all.))

Deep in Riven Castle, in her quarters behind an architect's desk, Winter continues working on her orders from King James for the planning of the Solace Port, completely oblivious to the Red Hunt and its failure to actually slay anyone on their list.

(( I know ^ I've already voided the rp they brought me because it was horrid and the most powergaming I've ever seen ))

A postcard arrives at the doors of various Lord and Ladies. It reads: "Greetings from the Orcish Lands!"

((I understand that the majority of the blue hunters have been using rp combat. I'd just like to confirm that they should probably handicap themselves. Nobles of Oren are bred for war through squireship, early swordsmanship, sparring, and tournies. I've seen many times already these hunters be amazing with swords and expect to defeat battle-bred noble warriors. Keep it realistic people!))

((Gah, why in the F word is every noble also the best swordsmen in the world? You're a noble. That statement was 110% Hypocrisy))

((I would not say the best, yet I would say any assassins should be aware of everything Baronvo said, nobles are trained from a young age in all manner of things. Honestly saying they are jack of many trades is not unreasonable, but most nobles need to take positive abilities with negative personality traits to counterbalance this.))

*The Lawful man chuckles as he reads the newest poster by the Red huntings Group*

"I hope they finish the job next time" he says to himself before walking away.

((Yes and to all those saying Oren nobles are bred for War, lets just think for a moment how stuck up nobles who know how to wield a sword should stack up against trained assassins, cannibals, servants to Gods of Death and War and People who harvest Organs for a living. So in all reality, the trained assassins should win 9.9/10 times. Oh but I forgot, this is MC and LotC. Realism doesnt exist at all.))

((I happen to be 100 swords and grew up fighting in the battles of Galahar and early Renatus having been trained by Ezekiel Tarus. While not all nobles are great swordsmen it's important to remember that most aren't inept at fighting. On the other hand it seems these assassins of whom some are really monks happen to all be master swordsmen from the looks of their RP fighting skills. I know I'll be questioning anybody's fighting training if they attempt to initiate an RP fight with me.))

"They got Artorus decently but not dead...Lazy bugger...so much slack.."

[[Oren nobles are swords men almost all of the nobles are from Galahar a place that had non stop crime and wars and Battles. And since the Galahar army was small the Nobles themselfs raised arms and became warrios to help defend thier homes and have done this ever since. And the Nobles from Auslon are bred from the War when everyone ganged up on Renatus for a good two Rl weeks. and fromt he Salvus then Hanseti wars. Only 2-3 nobles on thsi current list have not seen fighting almost 80% of this list are knights or war born Houses Such as Silverblades. We are SilverBLADES :3

Edit: Your Right this is LOTC not realism so why are so many complaing Nobles who have seen endless wars, Serve a Holy God, and some are being pushed into an adneraline fueled self defense rage and have several others around them Comparing to one or two assasins with what you said?]]

Sitting on his comfortable office chair, in his secret and secluded location, Elessar throws coins at paintings of whores. Oddly, Elessar hits one of them directly in the buzz-um, and simultaneously a large guard equipped with full diamond armour barges into the office. The sudden movements, coupled with the loud sounds startled Elessar greatly, so he fell off his chair. Brushing himself off and getting to his feet, Elessar slaps the guard and shouts "Fool". The guard apologises and moves himself back a few paces. He then looks down into his hands and then back up to his lord. "M'Lord, we have found a ridiculous note and thought you may prefer to take a look."

Elessar walks over toward the guard snatching the parchment from his hands and begins to read. His eyes only quickly scanning the words. Suddenly Elessar throws the note to the floor and stamps on it repeatedly, jumping on it and even spitting on it. He then looks up to the slightly nervous guard and shouts "That bludy twit spelt my bludy name wrong! What a bludy peasant with a stupid bludy idea." Elessar scowls and returns to behind his desk and rests his hands on the priceless teak top. "If I had my way around here, every peasant and twit like them fools, would be strung up and hung by their man parts." Elessar shrugs and returns to the comfort of his chair and reaches across his desk and pikes a grape from a small bowl. He then looks up to the guard with a serious look upon his attractive face. "Double the men, ensure all the vaults are locked up and that no one may enter any of our premises. The last thing we want is dirty peasantry on our newly lain oak flooring." The guard captain nods and turns to exit the office but before he makes it Elessar once again begins to talk. "Before you go though, put that poster up with those on the board. In the middle will do, underneath that pretty one." The guard nods and completes the tasks and then swiftly exits the room. Elessar merely sits there chewing on grapes and throwing coins at the posters.

[My name is Spelt Elessar not Elassar]

[[the whole idea of Assassins are pretty idiotic, I mean they will just keep returning to no end so it will just be an endless loop that will turn said assassin just being constantly hanged outside arethor]]

William sits in the keep sipping his glass of wine, chuckling at these pathetic "mercenarys" or "rebellious peasents"

* Kais hear's of this whole thing again and thinks

"Stupid men, thinking their gods should decide politics"

(( How trained are these assassins? Who were they trained by? For example my character is a Knight, he has had a prolonged life by about sixty years due to some magical curses. He has trained to fight since he was six years old due to his culture. Kais has also survived two assassination attempts in Galahar himself so he knows what to look for when he is being targeted. If these so called "well trained" assassins came up to Kais he would likely kill one of them not to mention Kais is never alone travelling with his squires most of the time his squires train in the wilds and killing wildmen and are brutal fighters, also most of the nobles as repeatedly said have been trained in swordplay I myself trained a few of these nobles such as Lancel Hightower.

If lets say in the situation me and Lancel are travelling together and two assassins try to kill us we would easily be able to dispatch them due to my extensive training and experience and Lancel's dueling training from myself. Unless you have a really really really good trainer one who has fought in every war on the server 9/10 the well trained Knights and Nobles win. Not to mention you've only listed a selection of nobles and as Braxis has pointed out you wouldn't know some of the names on the list. You should correct it and add the other nobles who should be on this list. ))

What did my father ever do? I wonder...

He walks off pondering, uncertain of his fathers destiny
