Messengers of each race begin to spread letters to the capitals of Asulon, pinning many on the noticeboards. The writing seems to be made in a hurry.

To all who handle Cattle or Livestock

I Kyral Hightower, on many of my hunts have come across a frightening sight. I had seen a group of Cattle roaming the plains, being in need of beef and leathers, I struck them down. However, when I killed one of them, they began to produce a strange purple substance. I know not of that this may be, but I know that it might just be a new plague.

I ask all farmers that see this happen to BURN the corpse immediately, and wash any and all beef in hot water before cooking it. It is important that you do not eat this beef, and that you get rid of anything that comes in contact with the substance.

I urge all Nation Leaders to rely on other forms of meat, but if they must have their beef, that they make sure that it is clean. As for me, I think this experience is enough for me to stop eating meats for a while.

Do not be afraid, as an experienced Alchemist, I will find out what is going on. I will experiment, and I will keep you updated on any progress made.

-Signed Queen of Aeroch Nor, Queen of Salvus, Kyral Hightower-

*Sitting at his dinner table with his latest woman, Lancel looks down at the medium rare steak before him with a savor in his mouth. His mouth begins to water as he cuts into the steak and he sees the juices flow out of it. He begins to slowly put it in his mouth when a messenger bursts in through the doors before he can accomplish the task, he looks to the messenger with an annoyed look on his face*

"Yes?" *he snaps angrily*

"Sire news from our queen." *He pushes the letter closer to him over the table, not daring to get close*

*Upon looking through the message he looks down at the steak with a green feeling in his face, he looks around for his cook before saying in a delicate tone*

"Chef.. I will skip to the raspberry tarts.."

*Pushes the plate away from him gingerly, looking up as the tarts are brought it*

Gtar hears this at the Cloud Temple, getting back to the Xer'Tlaasu and alerting the Kharajyr.

She then realizes that she ate beef...while she was pregnant

*Grimling sighs as he reads*

They should really kill the infected animals, and remove the corpse... that would stop widespread infection...

I am a farmer from north of Riverwood.

I have noticed something odd among animals as well.

I slew a sheep for it's meat, but it's skin was covered in odd red spots.

I discarded the carcass immediately.

On a possibly unrelated note, my wheat crops sometimes appear to be rotting.

I don't understand why, but they go limp and smell bad.

Could all three problems possibly be related?

Unfortunately, I was unable to get a sketch of either problem.
