Looking for Merchant Guild

I was wondering if anyone had a merchant guild I could join. By this I mean a group of people that work together to sell and buy things to make a profit. I want to learn about the merchant trade in game first hand and I would be willing to do deliveries for someone. This doesn't necessarily mean I need a group of 30 people. Even an experienced merchant that needs an assistant would suffice. I could deliver goods to a customer or I could just mine for someone. All for a portion of the profit. I appreciate anyone who takes me under their wing.

There might be a merchant guild that im unaware of. Sadly though, LOTC and well minecraft in general has no real economy so theres really little to no reason to trade. Maybe in the future if/when we get a custom client full of custom content... Then just maybe there will be one.

Well not really, in lotc there have been several shop plugins, as there is a subforum for trade as well. And in lotc there is also a economy system. Money called Minas. And this money can be used for trade in game by using commands to send money to another player. Right now there is not a shop plugin as the one Lotc had was removed for sertain reasons.

What i know there are merchant guilds in lotc as well.

For example what if i remember right the dwarf clan 'Goldhand' is a merchant guild.(Not really sure about that)

((The Goldhands are one of the three Dwarven noble clans. They were at one time a clan that emphasized on trading and the like, but now they have very little to do with merchanting. Merchant guilds were big in the past, around the time we came to Asulon up until the fall of Alras. Alras was one of the central trade hubs and with it gone there is no central trading and no guilds. (Note the city of Alras still exists and is under the control of the Goldhand clan.)

If you are dead set on having a merchanting guild you will probably need to take the initiative and make it yourself. There are many ways to go about doing this, but it will take a lot of time, effort, and general work.

Also If you have questions on economics of Lotc or trade in general just PM me and I will help to the best of my ability. I have been an avid merchant in the past and served as the Dwarven nation's High Merchant, Treasurer, and Economics adviser.
