A large crow flies roughly towards the Elendil keep, once arrived it lands by the prison, it crows and awaits for a guard. The bird had its foot wrapped around a note, once a guard came near enough, it gave a flap of his wings, the crow was blind in one eye, a large scar going across it, the crow was also slightly grey, obviously an old timer. The crow tilts his head, flying up he drops the note and begins to fly away. The guard leans down, picking the note up, he inspects it for a moment, before opening it. To his horror the note was written in blood. "Torrhen Elendil, Your time is near..." The writing is scruffy, maybe a peasant wrote it... The guard looks around, and decides to give it to somebody higher then himself. The note wasn't signed either.

Isabella leaves the keep happily, clutching her books when she sees the frightful look of the guard. She walks to him and says "What's wrong, Sir?". The guard shakily hands her the note and she looks it over carefully.

"Get the other banners. Put more patrols around Ildon. Find my father."

The guard nods his head and Isabella walks back inside, putting her books on the table. She carefully seats herself on the throne and awaits her fathers return, turning the letter in her hands.

Elindor emerges from the Inn. He walks slowly, twisting and stretching his body. He looks around the town a bit, then spots a bloodied body by the stables. He wanders slowly towards it and rolls the body onto its back. Elindor looks at the face.

"You are a familiar face, boy. And your horse brings you here as though it were your home. Perhaps you are lucky and will find your aid. But if it is your time, I shall aid you along the journey in peace."

Elindor stands up straight again. He looks down the street where he expects people would be. He mumbles something about endings, cycles and friends.

"There must be someone here who cares to see you though." He shouts, "HEY! SOMEONE IN ILDON! FREE DIAMONDS. COME GRAB SOME FREE DIAMONDS!"

Elindor's body groans after shouting. He walks a few steps away and sits upon a slab of stone, murmuring as he moves, "still a worn-out old fart."

"No Adrian, you can get through this!" Thorenir whisper's to him.

"Brother, It is time, I'm 87 and getting sick of this body, just promise me you will look out for Anárion and give him my sword when he comes by.....

Elindor takes this moment to stand up again and lean over Adrian.

"His body needs rest and his mind cannot continue to bare this pain. If you will allow me I shall ease his pain for the journey"

He pauses, waiting for permission.

Out of the darkness the torches are comin' Clatter of hoofs and torches on roofs! Young bairns wailin', ships they are sailing Burning off our homeland a new land to calm!

Will ye be proud when yer grand fathers turnin'!?

Will ye be proud as yer son dies sae well?!

Will ye be proud when the last battle's over, will ye be proud at yer lifes last remain?!

Highland men hangin' by Imperial decree; Hung by their kilts as a warnin' ta the free! From a landlords's voice the Highlands are finished; Your swords and yer plaid shall be never again!

The targe is torn and the claymore Is blunt; As is the spirit of those who won't stand! Betrayed and dishonoured and robbed of their land What has become of a Highland band?

*Hanrahan Finishes writing the Lament for Adunians long since past, In memory of those who've fallen fighting for Northern Independence.
