Thanks! Also something I forgot to put in my original question, are Kha allowed to learn other types of magic?

If you'd learn other types of magic other than Muun'Trivazja on a Kharajyr, you'll basically deny the gift from your Godess, which kinda is an offence.

What's the current kha population?

We stand at about 20 or so? Not sure, we're spread out over the world.

We have 42 (give or take) Kharajyr.

You can learn other magic whenever you want, but it'll be ICly frowned upon if you abandon Muun'Trivazja for another type of magic. I don't think there'd be a major IC issue in learning another magic after you've learnt Muun'Trivazja though.

Could it be possible for a kha' to use a machete? Didn't know if that is too modern of a weapon for LOTC.

A machete is far from modern, and is, in fact, a rather primitive weapon. If you wanted, I don't see why it shouldn't be possible.

I would like to make a Kha, I would like the following;

-Be a child

-Be "owned" by another race

-Speak almost clearly, but not perfect

-Have little to no religious role play

Possible?

Sadly, apekha's are not allowed. Well, they are, but you have to do it in RP. The KAT does not allow people to make an apekha' instantly when they write their app. And if you do it in RP, you gotta have extensive reasoning as to why he/she is an apekha', since Kharajyr despise apes.

So I take it, the rest is fine :)

"-Be a child"  - currently, to RolePlay as a kitten you must have been born via an IC family. One that currently exists within the Kharajyr' and is having kittens as part of their RolePlay.

"-Be 'owned by another race" - Currently, all kittens, cubs and young Kharajyr' are born on the island. There are no ape-Kha' couples to my knowledge who have had children and therefore you would not have had any real 'alone' contact with the mainland until you were atleast a young adult. Meaning, you would not be able to be 'owned' by an ape family.

"-Speak almost clearly, but not perfect" - The Kharajyr', as a part of our Lore have barbed tongues. This in essence works the same way as tusks work for Orcs in giving them their distinct accent. One would, having spent enough time around apes be able to mimic such a human'esque accent, but only after possibly years of IC practise.

"-Have little to no religious roleplay" - The Kharajyr' who are born onto the island, are taught from a young age about Metztli, our godess and the belief system a Kharajyr' should uphold. To not have any roleplay oriented around such a large part of Kharakyr' lore and history would be quite a large miss from what a Kharajyr' actually is to the core and the roleplay we can present.

This isn't accurate. The accent is a result of tradition. A second-generation apekha' would more likely develop common accent if they spent a lot of time around apes. The rest of his response is valid though.

Actually, Thunder is right. The Kharajyr have barbed tongues, forcing their accent to be much more obscure as opposed to ape-like accents. Albeit possible to deviate, it is unlikely that a Kharajyr would speak entirely in common, perfectly, unless taught such. One would find it difficult to switch from one to another, just as we as Humans do in real life.
