Muhammadan 181 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ~-OOC NOTE-~ This land is inactive, confirmed by acerbuddy, saying we needed to do a forum post to claim it(It is in the wilds, by the way) Edit: I could not provide a map of the area due to the map of Asulon not working for me. Pictures http://imgur.com/eSYFc http://imgur.com/eb03M http://imgur.com/xVgId http://imgur.com/Ihtb9 Nairog, Lord of House Stark, The Second of his name, rides alongside his youngest brother, Richard, both mounted high on their steeds, their fur capes nearly touching the gravel road. Across the Skravian road, coming upon a College of Mages, they spot their Middle brother, his mace shining brightly. “I see you got our word, brother” Nairog calls out, as Alistair, the Second, turns noticing them. Alistair shoves his mace back into its loop, "I did. For what reason am I here?" “We are looking for land, easy to take without a fight” Alistair shrugs, turning his horse around, inspecting the College "And you want this... strange place? What could it offer?" Nairog chuckles "What business would I have with some piece of Sh*t tower, that can fall from one hit of a cannon?” Alistair narrows his eyes, "So I am out here for nothing?" "You have nothing to do anyways, unless you are willing to fight Lord Condion once again, and fail" Nairog lightly kicks his horse, making it walk forward as Richard follows. "Then tell me why I am here." Alistair follows slowly. “Who is Lord of our House? I am, so why question me?" Nairog goes to the right of the path, off course, lifting his hand up to touch the leaves of the Spruces above him as some water falls before him, since it has so recently rained. Alistair growls, unhappy at being talked down to, "I question you, because if I did not, you would have no second opinion. And, I do not want to walk into battle without knowing it." Nairogs chuckles lightly, as they approach a shallow river turning his horse around "What do you know about battle, boy?" "Enough to fight Orcs three times larger than I. With only my mace to fight." "Two people fighting is not a battle" He turns back around, forcing his horse to go through the river, getting his fur cape wet. Alistair follows, his own horse following hesitantly, mtutering so Nairog cannot hear, "It is still close enough." Richard hears from behind as he follows after Alistair, not bothering to get involved. As they come cross the river, the three continues up a steep, grassy hill, as Richard notices something in the distance, just seeing past a mountain "There!" he shouts, pointing to atop of a small mountain. Alistair looks to the top, trying to see what he pointed at. "Ahh, good eye Richard!" Nairog so barely sees a small fort atop a hill, as he fiercly kicks his horse, the others doing the same, racing to it. As they reach the gates, wide open, they see the cracked stone, as they walk through, they can tell its abandond as Nairog turns, facing the two. "Very well, this land is now in possession of House Stark" He looks around slightly "Perhaps it would make a good campsite..."
Eleatic 1033 Share Posted September 16, 2012 [sorry, but could this be considerd plagiarism, or are you not trying at all? House stark is copyrighted by HBO, and G.R.R.M. ._. And this is a horribly unoriginal name, good post. Bad name. :I]
Muhammadan 181 Author Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((House Stark was a house of Aegis, we are simply carrying on a lost noble House))
Fabby 12 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((Stark was a house in Aegis and even if the name isn't the best, Its what Bioxard's char was given, just as I was given Silverblade and I can also tell that there are other people RP'ing the other Starks in the text.)) Braehn Elendil An'Hiraeth 474 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((First off, great post. If I could suggest something, you should take another name and sigil to avoid flame.))
Muhammadan 181 Author Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((I don't like the name Armas that much, I only had one person complain about it...If more do so, I shall consider it)) ((Edit: I may change the sigil however...))

ImpinAintEZ 442 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((Have you seen your sigil perhaps?.)) Yea. Not the direwolf of House Stark though. Tarus' are based off of Stark and Baratheon.
Beneh 227 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ( I just want to point out that if this is the House I think it is , it's been around for a very long time and would make no sense to change anything. Let the haters hate , I say ! )
Muhammadan 181 Author Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((Exactly why you complained then? You didn't want anyone else being like Stark, eh? Anyways, we only have one living Stark in our House, that actually acts like one from GoT.)) ((@Beneh: It is thee house, same bloodline as Nairog the first, founder of Aegis's Winterfell.)) Komodo 140 Share Posted September 16, 2012 ((If I could point it out, pretty much EVERY noble family in Oren takes inspiration from ASOIF. I didn't hear much complaining about "House Baelish,"))

bungo 3965 Share Posted September 17, 2012 In Aegis, House Stark owned Winterfell, No one saw any problems with it. Now, they make a post as they're attempting to come back and are asked to change their name? A House that has existed for over a Year IRL should not have to change it's name. Ivran 137 Share Posted September 17, 2012 Perhaps atleast change the Sigil, if nothing else. That should fix most of the problem, having the same name and Sigil as House Stark from GOT is... disturbing, in my eyes.
