Gemmylou 484 Share Posted September 19, 2012 As the sun goes down on another day, the sound of screaming can be heard as Alyssia Elendil gives birth to her son. It was unknown she was pregnant. With the child being a bastard, she felt it safer and better for all that the pregnancy remain secret, along with the identity of the father. As the screams became more and more horrific, it became obvious she wouldn't pull through. When the tiny baby's screams could be heard, shouting ceased and all that is left was silence, picking away at people like crows. Onlookers in the room watched as Alyssia shared quiet words to her Father and died in one last embrace goodbye with him. No sooner had the baby's mother gone did it follow. Little baby Harren had been but two hours old before he died in his new Grandfather's arms. Alyssia and baby Harren's bodies lay to rest side by side in the crypts beneath Winterhall Castle. May they rest in peace. ((side note; Incredibly cheesy but so the story doesn't have to be repeated.))

The Lion 736 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Gets word and looks up at the messenger. Lion stands and without warning drives his hunting knife into the boys chest. He sits back in his chair smoking a cigarette and sipping on brandy. He says nothing and shows no emotion for his fallen mistress and child. All he does is sit looking out his door with the thousand yard stare.
Nummy 413 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Piper roams around Ildon, the snow falling into her dark auburn hair as she looks around the keep. The screams still haunt her mind, the over whelming grief that has come over her in the last week showing in her eyes. She feels empty, and cold inside. Is this what she wanted? How could she find joy in such a horrible thing.. she thought it would bring her relief..but it only bringing a sense of guilt upon her. She clasps her hand around a silver locket around her neck, saying a silent prayer to the fallen woman. Shaking her head, Piper picks up the wooden training sword and puts on a mask of someone less unburdened, a joyless smile on her face. She turns and does the only thing she can do, to take care of her Little Bella Elendil, and to keep her safe from the monsters. "Auntie's safe now Bella" She whispers, then continues on, trying to occupy Bella's mind with sword training.
Dukester 120 Share Posted September 19, 2012 *Derrek Elendil sit's in the throne room whilst screams and shouts echo from the upstairs accommodations. He bites on his nails nervously before watching the Elendil maid return down the stares struck with grief. At that brief look exchange he slumps back in his throne, breathless and letting out slight whimpers. Suddenly his breath quickens and eyes narrow, clenching his fists and thinking back to their last encounter.* "Her death wasn't natural, it had a cause. And the cause shall be killed. Blood for blood!" *He runs out the room to gather his town friends*

Stevie 1598 Share Posted September 19, 2012 A letter reaches Krak du Rhoswen. Unable for it to be sorted by the Order's Seneschal, as he is on holiday, Thomas soon receives the letter. After the messenger addresses a summary of the letter, Thomas tears it open, unfolding and reading the letter with darting eyes. Slumping into his throne soon after, he emits a long sigh, rubbing his forehead at the tragedy, recollecting a very similar event that occurred to him only an Elven night ago. Remaining silent for a few moments, the messenger stands awkwardly, shuffling his feet as he clears his throat, snapping Thomas out of his short trance. "...Send them a White Rose... and tell both Winterhall an' Ildon we mourn their loss..." Trailing off, Thomas waves his hand, dismissing the messenger as he gives a curt nod, heading off with pace. Thomas, however, remains silent in his throne, a hand over his cheek and partly over his mouth as he thinks; thinks of this recent news, in coupling with the seemingly epic battle he encountered a few nights before. His thinking, long and arduous, is only interrupted by a swatting paw of his beloved cat, Bandit. With a vague smile and a ruffle of the feline's head, he rises from the throne, heading off to resume his daily business about the Keep, thoughts still eating at him for the rest of the day. Augor 142 Share Posted September 19, 2012 *Augor Sadreas walks into Winterhall, he is wearing his normal plate, with his House Elendil tabard over it. He walks through the courtyard noticing the general feeling of mourning in the castle. Augor slowly walks up to the throne and begins speaking to Artorus. Knowing of Alyssia's pregnancy he says in a sad, quiet voice, "She has passed, hasn't she?" As his lord responds with the answer he nods and walks over to a wall. He proceeds to punch it, his plate mail gauntlets making a terrible noise as it rubs against the hard stone of Winterhall. He shouts out "Damnit!" He looks up, listening to the echoes bounce off the walls. He frowns and walks out of Winterhall, ignoring the strange looks thrown in his direction.*
Galendar 631 Share Posted September 20, 2012 *catches word of the death of Alyssia and hurries to Winterhall walking into the throne room and hearing the truth. His depression deepens and he writes a note addressed to Artorus setting it on the throne. The note reads as follows, Dear Artorus, I heard rumor of this terrible fate that had befallen upon the Elendil family and arrive here to find out of this terror being ture. I was a friend of Alyssia and am deeply sadened by these turn of events. Please if there is anything I can do, let me know, for I will surely tend to them as a friend to the Elendil family. dandan1350 479 Share Posted September 20, 2012 Dralex sit as always in his nest high above in the rafters of the throne room. Looking down to see only grim looks and Isabella crying as she hugs Grimes leg tightly, he slowly looks around confused as to what happened hoping someone will tell him. "An aura of death fills the room this night..." He speaks in a low tone, the words muffled by his mask. He tries to meet the gaze of Artorus hoping to read what has happened off him. Snake Plissken 637 Share Posted September 20, 2012 As the screams of his cousin and her newly born child cease, Thorenir let's out a deep sigh of sadness. He pauses to stare at the painting of his father hung upon the wall for a moment, and then proceeds to sit in the old oak chair by his desk. He takes a large scroll from the hooks on the wall where it was mounted, and then lays it flat on the old desk. He then continues to take a quill from his pocket, and dip it into the ink pot on the side of his desk. Thorenir looks down at his cousins name on the Elendil family tree and puts a strike through the word 'alive' next to it. He then writes the word 'dead' underneath the crossed out word. Thornier dips the quill into the ink pot once more, before moving his hand to the very bottom of the scroll. There he inks in 'Harren Elendil: Son of Alyssia. Dead.'. He waits several long moments of the ink to dry before rolling the scroll back up and placing it back on the hooks mounted on the wall. Thorenir stands from his desk and walks over to his sons cot. He stares down at Rymeuls small, innocent face and smiles. In that moment, he realizes that his bastard son was not the curse he had thought he was, but infact a blessing. He smiles at the child's sleeping face one last time, before turning and heading out of the room.
Timmeh! 154 Share Posted September 20, 2012 * Walking around in Arethor, visiting the taverns and friends; Roses messenger runs up to, after bowing, he looks into her eyes and says * "Lady Rose, I was just informed of the death of Alyssia and Harren Elendil" *Rose blinks a few times, not taking this into grasp. she dismisses the messenger before quickly calling upon her horse and riding to Ildon. As she arrives she stables the horse, and walks to Artorus and bows her head* "I am sorry for your loss, and I wish you stay well she was a good friend to me and hopefully a great daughter to you, she will be missed dearly." *Nods once more before walking up to Artorus and embracing him slightly before heading to the two graves; as she arrives she pulls out two roses. Rose mumbles words that are unheard before laying a single rose on each of the graves before turning and mounting her horse riding away*
NiC201 (Aeries) 76 Share Posted September 21, 2012 Aeries leans forward from his seat as the rumors begin to spread through Arethor, the words of Alyssia's death ring through his ears. A small, evil smile comes to his face, covered by his bandanna. "I remember when I tortured her... So much screaming... Shame I cannot haunt her life anymore..." Aeries looks to the ground in respect for the dead and in sadness that he can no longer torment her. Aeries leans back into his seat and lights a cigar. "Oh well, plenty more where that came from!"
