Aluaethner 17 Share Posted October 6, 2012 I have a daughter and son but need someone to play the mother. If your interested all thats needed is that your character be a Dark elf 40 or older.

ski_king3 0 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Elves can't have children until both mother and father are 100. I've heard of several elves being pregnant far before 100, and I've never heard this before. Do you have some sort of source for this. In fact, the wiki specifically says they are fertile in the first five centuries of their lives. So I would say that this is probably not correct due to how people have RP'ed elf pregnancies and elf lore.
Supremacy 3361 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Aegis wiki. It is also a widespread rule amongst all the high elves I know - I'm fairly certain it is correct.
ski_king3 0 Share Posted October 8, 2012 I feel like due to the large number of elves who don't follow that rule, even if it was originally a part of Elven lore, it definitely isn't any more. This is kind of a grey area like half-race children. However, we can't really void what many, many people have already role played extensively. It wouldn't be fair. However, in this situation it's a nonissue since the character doesn't exist yet.
Altariel_Alfakyn 8 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Aegis wiki. It is also a widespread rule amongst all the high elves I know - I'm fairly certain it is correct. This is correct, elves really shouldn't be having children until at least age 100, a 40 year old elf would still be considered a child, just for future reference of course. MetaSolaray 242 Share Posted October 9, 2012 ((Yet it also states that they mature at the same rate physically as humans would, this would also include sexual reproduction, this would also force any and all new born elven players to simply be unable to roleplay a child life of producing offspring of their own...till they roleplayed that character for 2+ years... :/, while they may be considered children by society, physically they stall at aging and death at 20.)) Cappy 1599 Share Posted November 5, 2012 Elves can't have children until both mother and father are 100. Correct. They may mature at the same rate, physically, as humans, but elven women aren't fertile for their first century or so.
