TEEbrown 348 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Bazian sends out a good number of flyers fresh off the press through out Kal'Karik. The flyer reads as such. Elder brothers and sisters, I call to you for the sole purpose of rememberance. It has come the time in my life when my duties to the kingdom has shifted from the physical to the mental. As my works with the history of the Grandaxe clan comes to a close, it comes as a great honor to my kin to preform a service in the form of a literary work. These tomes of knowledge will consist of the recording of all Kings of old and all former halls that are lost or lively. These will be two separate tomes, alas I am in need of some remberance. So now, I call unto those that have lived the many years in the caves and halls of our fathers, the elders of our race, to tell the stories of old, to remember them so that I may record these into these tomes. [so basically I need any lore pertaining to the kings or old settlements. If you have any, please post lore ICly on this thread.] Kings King SimppaKing CharlesKing Belin IrongutKing Algrim IrongutKing Gotrek FiremaneKing Thorik BraveaxeKing Broski BraveaxeKing Kjell Ireheart Settlements Kal'UrguanKal'Alras (Origional)Kal'HimmelinKal'BrystKal'DwainKal'Alras (New)Mount IreKhaz

Supertimmy4ever 19 Share Posted October 8, 2012 Kal'Bryst: Started as one of the first outposts/colonies in the dwarven kingdom, built between two mountains far away from Kal'Urguan. It was created by Overseer Charles and Harnok, Harnok became Baron soon after when it was accepted as a city. it looked more like a mining colony and "fort" then a city, but it was a real dwarven city. A big stone wall and a long mineshaft beneath the city. the threat of the undead became clear when they attacked Kal'Bryst and completely destroyed it. it was the first large scale attack and Kal'bryst was gone, soon after that Harnok went missing. this be a bit of Kal'bryst that me remember. ((This is not entirely true, Kal'Bryst was a outpost created during the times of Simppa during the beginning of the second Orc War started by the Orc Dom, during this time of Simppa's absence Overseer Charles guided a party of Dwarves, Belin, Lukas, Harnok, and Kilgrim to the what was assumed the "north" (which was later found to be the west) In this area the Overseer located two mountains standing beside each other connected by a single cliff which he began his construction of a war camp to flank the orcs in times of assault, Charles later left the Dwarves to do as they pleased with the lands after discovering that the initial war threat was only a poorly perceived observation by a scout who assumed a bearded goblin to be a sacraficed dwarf, this area later hosted aegis's first rail way the metro and later prospered before the undead invasion. The war camp's name was origionally called "nestled between one's breasts" before being called just Bryst which later became Kal'Bryst when the camp became a city in King Charles's reign.) Dun_Irongut 104 Share Posted October 19, 2012 Kal'Dwain: Originally built by Darius Irongut as a base of operations for the Mining Guild, it was turned into a full fledged city shortly before Karik fell. Built over a ravine filled to the brim with magma, it was used to power the several furnaces within the city. Kal'Dwain citizens participated in the Battle of the Boot, in which they were successful in opening the front gate, while many others perished within the many traps throughout the general earea. Expanded and refined by Head Architect Rotsu Irongut and managed day by day through the efforts of Tybar Copperleg. The city went through several Overseers, who managed the guard, which in truth was never successful in managing the cities borders. It was destroyed during the return of the Wandering Wizard.
