1st Bi-Weekly OOC Contest: Build Contest!

Alright everyone! You voted on my poll and I am taking the first contest directly from the poll results!

You wanted a build contest, so you're getting it!

Announcing~~~~~~~~THE THEMED ROLLER COASTER BUILD CONTEST!

Contest Begins: Today, Sunday October 21st, right now.

Contest Entry Period Ends: Tuesday, October 30th, at Midnight.

Judging will run from Halloween(31st) through Saturday, November 3rd, with a winner being announced Either Saturday or Sunday.

Here are the rules and guidelines::

1. Choose one of the following themes to decorate around your coaster::

-Horror

-Castle

-Space

2. The coaster, and all decoration/redstone device wiring/etc, must be contained in an area no larger than 100x100 blocks (you may go as high or as low as you like within that area.)

3. There must be an obvious STATION for your coaster, the beginning AND end point, and a way to both start and stop there.

4. You must create a CSP world (creative single player), you may use a normal map, a flat world map, whatever. You must construct the 102x102 block border on this map in a way that can be easily seen (the border should be 102x102 blocks, leaving you the 100x100 block space within to construct)

5. Use creative mode, please, it's a huge timesaver and there's no need to worry about wasting your contest time gathering resources.

6. You may work together on a contest entry if you like, but the prize will NOT be doubled, so you'll have to find a way to split it. I encourage solo projects.

7. Once you have completed your build, compress the save into a .ZIP file and upload it to a file storage site (there are plenty of free ones) and copy the link here with the following entry layout::

I will clarify the details with him, but unless he is opposed, these are the details of what the sketch limits::

-One Character, full-body, OR Two characters, waist-up.

-You may choose the type of pose, the character details, facial expression, background, etc. If you are going to be extremely detailed, provide reference pictures of complicated poses/expressions, clothing/accessories, etc.

-I suggest providing general details and giving the artist creative freedom, those are generally the best results.

-The sketch will be black-and-white with shading.

To answer the questions::

Yes you may choose multiple themes for the ride to transition between, but it must be related to the 3 stated themes.

You can use mods to build the coaster, but it must FUNCTION WITHOUT MODS. I should be able to take your save into Vanilla Minecraft and have it function properly. If you've got a mod that'll help you landscape/theme/design the ride, by all means use it, so long as the save can function without that Mod for your entry.

Also, @MuckyD121, you need to upload the save file, not screenshots <3. I plan to RIDE every coaster along with some friends to help judge it ;)

So I've started working on my coaster and I was wondering if there was anymore requirements for the station other than just starting and stopping there.
