TornadoWatch 364 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Aerin is wearing gray cleric robes with his hood up, and he says to the Sariant slowly: "Aye, just the basket. There was nothing on the note; but I wrote a message on it incase if whoever put it there wants to check up on this stunt." Aerin looks at the sunset in the distance and says to the Sariant: "I wrote on the message that whoever did this should meet me at the stables at dark. Our best bet is to wait there." He starts walking towards the gatehouse and says: "If you want to help you'll wait with me there." "Very well, then. Let's go." He follows the Cleric to the gatehouse. "May I ask your name?" He says as they stroll along.
Roxforbraynz 251 Share Posted November 23, 2012 "Very well, then. Let's go." He follows the Cleric to the gatehouse. "May I ask your name?" He says as they stroll along. After they leave, the woman in blue stands up from her seat on the fountain and walks over to the basket. She looks around to make sure no one is looking before taking a lid out of her bag and covering the basket, then she picks it up and slips it into her bag. She looks around once more and goes to walk out of Arethor, avoiding the stables and taking the long way back to wherever she came from. OOC info: Basket is gone. The one that's actually responsible doesn't show up at the stables.
LaCabra (Soda) 1519 Share Posted November 23, 2012 Bili Hollowmead walks along the path towards the Vale's noticeboard, checking it for any news that could affect his simple Halfling life. Whistling a humble, quiet tune, he approaches it to notice an oddly mesmerizing sketch of a serpentine creature. Smiling, Bili thinks to himself. "Well, woul' ye look a' tha'... Someun' drew a picture o' the Tookwater Terror! Mus' 'ave been lucky ter see 'er, mind ye... I ain' seen 'er in years!" In curiosity, Bili turns around to look at the Tookwater river, wondering where the great beast that swims through it could be. Frowning slightly in disappointment, as he was expecting to see the Terror, Bili turns around to notice the box right next to his bare feet. Gasping in surprise at his luck, he claps his hands together. "Woul' ye look a' tha'! Some decen' bloke lef' some rope layin' aroun'! Jus' wha' I needed ter catch one o' them ponies up in the Northern 'ills." Blinded by his anticipation for catching a pony to assist in his labor around Branborough, Bili reaches down to pull the "rope" from the box at his feet. Much to the Halfling's surprise, one of the ropes lifts its head up and stocks its tongue out at him in defiance. Completely taken aback, Bili jumps into the air, releasing a high squeal, "BUGGERIN' DAISIES!" before he stumbles backwards and falls unconscious on the grass behind him. TornadoWatch 364 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Aerin says as he walks towards the stables: "Aye, my name is Aerin." He leans against a wall of the stables: "And your name?" "Jonathan Black; Sariant Jonathan Black. Hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this." He keeps standing, looking out for anyone who seems unusual approaching; no one seems to come, however. mr.gerp 21 Share Posted November 25, 2012 Aerin looks around and sees no one suspicious approach. He says to the sariant as he approaches the gatehouse: "I'll be back here in a moment." Aerin pokes his head around the corner and sees that the basket is missing. He shouts back to Jonathan Black: "The basket's gone, and whoever put it there hasn't come." Aerin sighs as he approaches the stables: "I don't suppose a Sariant could assemble a search party of the local guard? I'm not really familiar with the ranking system of the Black Cross."
