Shift, you shouldn't simply tell people to leave. Look at the amount of support he's gotten. Several people obviously agree with him. They feel like their input is ignored or something, so you should listen to them, not tell them to go away.

Anyone who produces a outright malicious post, does not deserve sympathy - especially those who've been around long enough to know better

I must say that Uthor and Rhia definitely deserve the position of GM. Rhia and I have talked in the Occultus chat and Jroy has helped me with several problems on LOTC and other servers. His addition will be a positive one. Not so Dusk. Tythus, you say you are listening to our voices, but I do not know of anybody who has called for SerenityOnyx as an admin. In fact, there are many people who wish for her removal from staff entirely. I will probably be given a warning for flaming after posting this, yet I have tried to remain calm.

We have voiced our opinion more than enough already, the decision of Serenityonyx becoming an Admin is simply laughable, and the fact that Tyrion stepped down on his own accord is a lie, people lack the motivation to continue contributing to LoTC including myself which is why I retracted my GM application in the first place, there have been countless of threads adressing the issues at hand but have been ignored as a whole.

Everyday I hope for change and keep returning daily to this website to check up on the community and recent additions, although all I encounter is utter dissapointment.

If people got some balls, and talked nicely to Dusk for just a minute, they would realise she's a kind and mature woman.

I will not have our GM's and Admins berated, if you have a problem with a promotion and a reason why take it up with an admin or present your argument in a respectful manner. If you use your words loosely, you will receive flak - that's nothing new.

Goldrim made that post pretty much saying what a lot of us feel, he did that for us because most of us are scared to give that opinion in fear of being warned or even banned entirely from the server. These posts may sound malicious but it is because a large majority of the player base feels like it is ignored and it is calling out for you to hear it.

If an Admin says they have been listening to our voices, and you disagree, make your own mature forum post, get signatures, and submit it. Don't point fingers like children with the accusations of "Nuh uh! You never listen!"

There is no matter of favouritism here. Rhia spoke to a few GMs - that doesn't affect the opinions of the entire GM and Administration team. The decisions to make Rhia and Jroy GMs wasn't taken by the GMs who speak to them - it was a decision made over a period of about a month. Why don't we - instead of prejudging - actually allow them to show us what they're capable of?

In regards to Goldrim's comment - the personal dislike some people harbour against Dusk isn't something that's gonna influence the decisions made. Dusk is a very capable member of staff, however people seem to grow opinions on her based on the rumours that a few spread - grow up, Dusk has proven she is capable of being a GM, and will continue to prove her worth as an administrator. The majority of people that voice their dislike on Dusk haven't had a first-hand experience with her, and base their opinions on a few idiots who claim things that aren't true.

Please, remain civil and allow the promoted staff members to show their capabilities. If they don't, then they won't be staff - will they?

type of rant, nothing.

Respect is something to be earned, if one trys to force it, they'll get the opposite in return.

What he said is a very nicely sugarcoated version of what a lot of people are thinking.
