A lot of people do. And who am I to tell them it's the wrong course of action? An opinion is an opinion and my respect for people is by no means governed by their opinion of the Kharajyr. It may not be an opinion I share, but that doesn't render it useless.

Why should someone let their personal desires get in the way from the server as a whole? Even if the kha was to be removed it would be done under the premise that LoTC needs this for growth.

Either way, nothing has been decided about that matter

I feel this is a big mistake in regards of the admin promotion, but I don't have a voice anymore. Congratulations to Rhia and Jroy, however. You two deserve it.

Personally, I don't care for the berating of Admins and Moderators on any server.

But the public is right; it's not just to call people out just for stating their own opinions when opinions were asked for in the first place. When you take a position of authority, whether that be a moderator on the internet or a leader of a nation, you have to take responsibility for what happens. People have the right to judge your performance, to criticize it. The comic "Doonesbury" isn't banned by the United States government for poking fun at political figures. That comic is simply poking fun and, more importantly, stating opinions on certain authority figures. Of course, threats are an entirely different thing, but berating someone because you're upset with them is a right as a citizen, or in this case, as a member of these forums and of this community.

EDIT: Though, I don't think this is the forum for this now. I realize now that things have gotten off topic. On another note, congrats to Jroy and Rhia on their GM promotions!

From what I remember and just read - you don't discuss anything that we are discussing here at all.

The threads made in the past also lacked any form of evidence to support the claims made against staff, and were often based off of second-hand rumours that people spread. If you can actually provide solid evidence of a staff member's doings that makes the unsuitable for their position then do so - making threads without evidence or any form of proof doesn't do anything, even more so when it's based off of the rumours spread from a few disgruntled people.

Not here in particular, but I adress some of the issues in general, it doesn't necessarily have to be me who is adressing the flaws that currently run through the staff, although if you so crave for any evidence I present to you the case with Mogroka apparently "raping" BadCall I believe, this was presented to Native before but has been shoved aside like it was nothing even though raping has been made a bannable offense. (From what I remember) I also wish to apologize to you Mogroka, you are a friend but in order for me to have some liability behind my word I need to provide some hard facts.

I'm pretty sure there are alot more cases in which a GM or Admin should be incrimated although has not been saved or documented, and there are even alot more things going on out outside of LoTC between certain staff members and players.

Just because the person who wants your race removed is an admin doesn't mean that she can use her magic drow admin powerz in order to make the race disappear into a mouthful of bad air.

With an decision as large as this, plenty of people are involved. From the loremasters to GM's to yes, even other admins. Right now, even though no decision has been made, Geo and Ben, along with many others, are behind closed doors trying to make an solution.

This isn't an issue decided by one allpowerful dictator. It's decided by negotiating between many different parties.

No qualms with these decisions, they can only benefit us.

Buuuuttt, in my very humble opinion, there is no need for claims such as 'We have listened to your voice' etc... because that really isn't the case, I don't recall any specific outcries from the server for new GM's, in fact I recall quite the opposite request, so please stop sugar coating all your decisions and just say that you chose who you did because...(real reasons go here).

Good luck to the newly appointed GM's.

We'd have to be inhuman to not respect the opinions of others, support with evidence of the players doings is in fact, considered.

One thing people fail to realize is that the Staff does NOT warn/ban people for your opinions. Before you go on saying I'm silly and naive, we DO warn/ban people who state their opinions in a disrespectful manner. I'll use Goldrim's first post on this thread as an example. The second half of his post was fine, it was just an opinion and he is entitled to it, but to say that a decision we made is laughable is incredibly disrespectful. Also, Tyrion DID leave on his own, so he shouldn't go around spreading a lie that this isn't the case. Tyrion left a leaving post in the GM Skype chat saying that he didn't have the time to devote to our server anymore, and although he actually tried completely leaving the staff entirely, we kept him as a GM as a sign of respect. He was NOT forcefully removed.

Basically, feel free to say whatever you want, as long as you do so respectfully. If you disagree with one of the decisions we made, then literally say "I disagree with this decision because....", don't say "I hate the GMs, they make the stupidest decisions and obviously hate the players". If you don't like a GM, then feel free to say that you dislike said GM, but don't go around making posts on the forums trashing them as well as spreading rumors and lies about them.

We aren't asking for respect, we are simply asking that you don't disrespect us.
