Okay this style of post is foreign to me so please bare with me. And I apologize it is not as attractive as one of Danny's posts.

I come to you today as a response to some things mentioned in our QnA on Teamspeak. What I am referring too is how we wanted your feedback and ideas. This post will only be up momentarily. (a week, so Saturday Dec 8th)...

With this in mind, I am encouraging you the community to post your ideas and thoughts into this thread. These thoughts can range any subject matter, varying from at minimum:

Staff issues and concerns

Where you think we should go from here as a server.

Any event ideas, especially for the temp map itself.

Etc.

We wish to hear from you all about this. As your opinions do matter and we wish to provide any answers possible. Or find ways to entertain everyone while we continue to work on 2.5 and 3.0.

I ask only that posts are well thought, and not to be aimed to flame anyone or thing. In no way should people be disrespectful to other people's ideas.

I think it would be helpful to have a place where players could look at the custom crafting recipes, both to satisfy OOC curiosity and to look up recipes that our characters would know IC. Trust us that we won't abuse them and make warhammers and battle axes as farmers! :)

While I see your point, mob hunting for minas also ruins the economy and makes infinite money. I think that voting would be better than killing mobs as at least the voting helps the server. Though I'm not that into minas from voting, it's better than grinding mobs for money.

As I was saying before, initiate DEFCON 1, however nobody really cared. We're going too fast, and generally with all these staff changes and such we may end up falling in a hole. Slowing down should be our first priority, then getting us a real map such as 2.5, and then finally we should slowly work on 3.0. Once we have a good and stable map, then we deal with the current staff problems if we have any at the moment. We cannot put too much on our plate, or else we will get overwhelmed to the point of death.

But when we had it, we were #3 on Minestatus, when we lost it, we fell down to 100 or something, it could only be about 25 minas, and remember there's a 14 hour wait time.

The staff who partake in wars and events with siege engines I believe should take a look at the power behind them before 3.0, as many a time I've seen a cannon or something of the sort blow a clear hole through three metres of solid stone no issue, wheras in real life this just would not happen.

Possibly nerf the fireballs you shoot or the explosives on the server, as a cannon, even a powerfull one would not be able to clear away a tonne of stone by itself in one shot.

Lime made a fun mini-event where a ghast emerged from the volcano and the pigman went bonkers. To say the least, me and the other 10 people who came because of the broadcast had lots of fun. Do more of it.

I'd like to see more events, in 3.0. I am honestly saddened at the lack of eventful things in Asulon, many people just went along streaming through. And along with that, I noticed almost all events focused on one race [Dwarf, human, etc] though even then. I rarely saw events for the elves, and uruks. so, yep. I'd love to see global events, even a contest RPly would be a change of scenery. ^,^
