Howdy guys!

Quick update today - we're returning the scheme which enables you to win free VIP for an entire month simply by voting!

The way it works is simple: The player that votes most every month wins 25$ VIP for an entire month (next donator rank up if you're already a VIP, or gifted to a friend). At the end of every month we announce the winner. If there are multiple players in the top position, it will be randomly chosen between them via a random-number-generator-like-thing! You may only win the VIP once - if you are the top voter for a second time, then we will give the reward to the player below you. Only Minestatus votes count. Voting totals are calculated internally via the server itself.

This draw will be done on the 31st of December.

No, they would not - land claims are currently not in use anyway.

T'was a month when we used to do it as well. We also don't want to lose actual donation money, as we still need it! (The original voting scheme was forever, but there's really no need for it to be that long).

The way I see it, the people that try their hardest to get the VIP are the people who either have no plans of donating, or no means of donating. Not really a loss of donations if they never will donate.
