Why not go to a period of say, Two or Three Months? it's long enough to enjoy the benefits for a bit, show you what you can get if you support the server.

We only started the push early in December, and we only managed to configure things to manage to get this system to actually work today! :-) People who voted before this post was made's votes do not count towards the VIP prize, as we weren't able to log them at that point.

Personally I think it should be for lifetime and just a smaller VIP amount. Temporary VIP doesn't really have any benefits that would make me want to vote to receive. Not a bad idea though, just could use some improvement.

Sir, may I suggest a collective number of wins = forever VIP. For example, billy wins five times total, Doesn't have to be in a row, he just racks up five wins. Thus he gets forever VIP (it sure would ramp up the votes even higher I bet, and encourages the voting to be on going to get X number of wins for free VIP )
