((If you are not in the Dwarven Grand Council refrain from posting))

Kilgrim sits down in his council seat awaiting his fellow members to join in debate of the Unconstitutional Private military instated by our very own King, Hiebe.

My fellow councilors, we are gathered here today in this room to debate in politics about the matter at hand of the unconstitutional establishment of the 'Crimson Edict,' too which forth brings me, and many others great concern. These members of this 'private' army instituted by our present King and Leader, Hiebe. As my oppening statement I bring forth the inarguable fact that this platoon of soldiers to act under the strict power of Hiebe is by law unconstitutional. The laws that this military breaks, and that Hiebe himself has broken are as stated and taken straight from the Constitution:

These dwarves have been wrongly advocated into the entitlement of 'Honorary Dwarf' and are being put above the law. Therefore this directly violates the Other Races amendment.

Other Races: For a race other than a dwarf to gain citizenship of the kingdom, they will undergo much scrutiny and distrust. In order to even be thought of, one must present himself with a dwarf friend, already of the kingdom.

This military which is to be referred as a guild, has not been pre-approved by the council and is therefore subject for termination.

Kingdom Guilds: These are guilds completely controlled and regulated by the kingdom. Their material are fluid from one another, meaning they share all from the stockpile, bartering is not necessary. These guilds are subject to specific kingdom regulations.

As this guild or 'private military' to which Hiebe has called it, is unconstitutional, I find the only just and proper way to solve this violation, is the proper disposal and termination of the Crimson Edict.

For my solution, I propose we decree that the Crimson Edict will by law, disbanded and be reassigned to the legion to which they will be under the power of Kjell Ireheart, our current Grand Marshal. There entitlement to honorary dwarves which were instated by Hiebe will be stripped and will have to be earned through proper means. As for Hiebe, I wish to remind you that the constitution is law. Created by the council and approved by you, I ask you to please review the constituion, and scrutinize your actions carefully before doing them.

Hogarth takes a seat in the council room after being summoned, he observed that the room was silent after Kilgrim's speech and decides to speak his opinion.

"I dun't see what it says in those laws t'at makes em unconstitutional. T'ere ain't anythin' specific enough in the laws t'at'd make meh raise meh eye. T'ey are soldiers of the Kingdom of Urugan an' are obvious friends tuh t'e our kin. They are also controlled by the kingdom as they are servants of the grand King Hiebe. Per'aps an eye ovah t'em is needed, but I say not more t'en that."

Maellik shrugs.

"I see nothing in dese laws dat makes dem unlawful. Da dwarf friend needed could be considered Hiebe and as fer kingdom regulation, dey are regulated by da kingdom. 'iebe is allowed ta give dem a bit ov self control, dat is still regulatin' jus' without 'avin' ta deal with details. Unless ye present more evidence I see no reason fer dem ta be disbanded. By all means merge dem wit' da legion, a single army is best after all, and keep on eye on dem but do not call dem unconstitutional. Dey fit as ta what I can see."

EDIT:

((If what I said wasn't clear (I'm a bit tired after all) here is a more distinct summary. Maellik doesn't think them unlawful but is in favour of merging them with the Legion for a more effective army.))

*Stands up from his council seat spreading his arms in the air beside them before making a loud clap, his expression clearly that of disgust as he questions those who he lacks assumption for being his own kin, with a brief sigh as he un furrows his expression he begins to speak.*

"Clearly ye lads dunnae know 'ow dis works now duh ye? *He looks to Hogarth and Maellik, those who he believe do not care for the constitution much like Hiebe.* Dese lads 'ave broken da laws ov da Constitution clearly! An' by da King's own devoices! Oor lord 'Iebe benae above us all, it benae loike 'e can guh runnin' 'roond murderin' everyun as 'e 'as tuh follow da laws 'imself! Da uns dat 'ave been set in stone by oor very own 'ands save fer ye bo'f w'o dunnae seem tuh bodder wi'f wut ye claim tuh beh a useless cause an' un nae tuh wurry 'boot!"

*Kjell Turns his head examining the council chamber as he lets out a loud grunt, and turning his expression to a crude one of hatred.*

"Fer ya see, dese constitution laws keep us frum bein' betrayed an' cheated! Sumfin' ye tuh dunnae fawkin' care 'boot duh ye? 'Ow 'bout Ah fawk ye bo'f in da arse an' see 'ow ye loike it! Much loike 'Iebe did tuh meh w'en 'e Usurped me f'rone frum roight under me own arse! *The Marshal gives a intimidating glare to Maellik.* Ah'm, sure ye recall dis boy? Frum w'en ye w'ere a wee un? 'Ow a suh called 'Clan Lord' took da moighty Paragon oot ov power as 'e troied 'is best ta restore 'onor tuh 'is kin affer many great wars? Ah call it cowardice.. An' it wouldnae 'ave 'appened if dere wus dis constitution 'ere. *The Paragon produces the tome from his beard opening it up and flicking through the many pages as if to show the other councilors it's value.* Fer ya see, dis very tome keeps us frum doin' cruel tuh un anudder wi'f oot punishment an' ta keep us safe frum bastards loike da crimson legion an' 'Iebe's false power w'ich 'e used ta grant dese lads we dunnae know da toitle ov ' 'onorary Dwarf.' Sumfin' Ah dunnae fink dey bludeh deserve affer doin' wut dey did tuh meh an' me soldiers.

*Closes the book quickly producing another loud noise.*

"Ye lads moight fink dat dese "Simple" problems benae sumfin' tuh concern yerself aboot.. Bu' w'en 'Iebe 'as a personal army ov 'is own, w'ose ta fund da true Dwarves dat protect ' 'is folk', Eh? Dat be w'y dis be a problem an' dat be w'y we mus' follow dis book 'ere tuh da every letter tuh ensure oor safety frum possible f'reats on da insoide.. An' does w'o dunnae care 'bout dere kin be free ta say 'Nae!' tuh dese runes inscroibed in dese pages. But Ah say Aye tuh da cause! We mus' take care ov does bludeh proivate soldiers ov 'Iebe's an' make dem serve da people radder den 'is greedy needs. Nae mattah wut 'appens Ah'll still serve 'im fer 'e be da un w'o nooh guoides me folk.

*And with that Kjell puts the large iron bound tome back into his beard reclining in his chair as the metal of his armor clicks together.*

Stands up angrily at Kjell's remarks, his left hand clenching reflexively on his axe's handle

"Ye dare say oi dun care fer da constitution er da people! YE DARE SAY DAT OI CARE NOT FER DA LAW! Yer a fool Kjell, Paragon er not! If ye pulled yer 'ead outta yer sore arse frum tings in da past long enough ta listen ye'd 'ave 'eard dat oi only said oi found dem ta be lawful. Oi DIDNAE say ta keep dem nor ta keep dere "'onarary dwarven" titles. Oi feckin' agreed dat dey should be absorbed by da legion an' kept an eye on. Now tell me where in da 'ell oi said somefin' dat shows oi care not fer da constition? So I tink dey are lawful, incredible! Doesn' mean oi loik 'avin' dem 'round. Next time, 'fore ye run yer mouth why dun ye make sure ye 'ear all my words correctly. Oi dun take kindly ta da insults ye throw at me, Paragon."

Maellik returns the scowl.

"By what oi read dere was no law broken by dere formation. Oi belive dere formation was done legally, albeit barely. 'oweva, oi still tink dey should be disbanded and absorbed inta da Legion as well as dere 'onarareh toitels taken. Oi stand by ma thoughts dat dere formation was legal. Oi also stand by my thought that the act should still be undone. Ye can tell me ye disagree wit' meh an' explain ta me why but do not insult me nor da king as ye do so. Oi gladly admit wrongs and adjust opinions w'en oi'm shown evidence reasonably but insultin' me an' sayin' oi spit upon da law is not doin' anytin ov da koind. Ye may be old, oi may be young, but oi'm a memba ov dis council just as ye an' oi will not stand fer insults ta be thrown at meh just because ye 'ave a different position! Ye say oi dun respect da law, foine. NOW EXPLAIN DAT! Obviousleh ye read it differentleh but ye've said nothin' ta change ma opinion dat it was lawful, only insulted meh."

Hogarth remains seated but his face becomes reddened and his voice filled with rage.

"T'at's 'bout the biggest pile a Orc S'it I've 'ear in meh life. Yer speakin' treatorous words infront of the king himself! Whutever 'append tuh the respect towards the king? 'iebe was there tuh take kingship when no one else stepped up, and unlike yeh 'e 'asn't built twuh bloodeh ciites in 'is kingship! I'm tiored a yer blabbin' Kjell."

Hogarth turns to Hiebe and speaks with anger in his voice

Do I realleh 'ave ter reiterate mah self. I there were unconstitutionally approved as a private military guard for 'iebe.

Dey were alsho all put above our constitution and were instated with the wrongfully given title of Honorary Dwarfs.
