Kilgrim

Maellik is thankful that Kilgrim seems more wiling to explain positions and turns to him.

Do I realleh 'ave ter reiterate mah self. I there were unconstitutionally approved as a private military guard for 'iebe.

Really? I 'ad neva 'eard dey were a private guard, merely da army ov da 'umans in our lands.

Dey were alsho all put above our constitution and were instated with the wrongfully given title of Honorary Dwarfs.

Oi argue dat dey were not given da title illegalleh. 'oweva, oi feel da choice was wrong an' should be undone. While legal, it shouldn' 'ave been made.

Kilgrim, dey earned der title with blood sweat an honor, not by sum paper. Whut ave we turned tu dat we need a fecking paper to decided our titles?

Hogarth remains seated but his face becomes reddened and his voice filled with rage.

"T'at's 'bout the biggest pile a Orc S'it I've 'ear in meh life. Yer speakin' treatorous words infront of the king himself! Whutever 'append tuh the respect towards the king? 'iebe was there tuh take kingship when no one else stepped up, and unlike yeh 'e 'asn't built twuh bloodeh ciites in 'is kingship! I'm tiored a yer blabbin' Kjell."

Hogarth turns to Hiebe and speaks with anger in his voice

"King, I believe we 'ave another deceitful Lord Marshall on our 'ands."

'ow ignorant can you be. You speak the words of fools. Your bias arrogance blinds the truth from your eyes. 'iebe ish meh own cousin an' I can even see dat wut 'e 'as done ish wrong. Te factsh are factsh! You fools are so set on te path of hatred and quick to get into arguments that you can't undershtand dat our King has done wrong. You are causing more trouble than this council ish worth and are trying to divide us. If anything you are instituting chaos that we dun need. How foolish can you all be that even Maelik agreesh wit meh solution yet now you are set on gettin' rid of our Lord Marhsal.

Kilgrim, dey earned der title with blood sweat an honor, not by sum paper. Whut ave we turned tu dat we need a fecking paper to decided our titles?

Where do ye keep gettin' dis idea that everytin' ish written on paper. I neva even 'eard of dese feckin' interlopers. An' ye keep refferring to everyone as we. But ish really unleh you. You are te only one who thinks everytin' ish on paper. If anythin' ye are just angry dat tings aren't goin' yer way. Ye alwaysh are shayin' dat ye regret our constitution when all it does ish bring law and order. Ye approved and now ye refrain to even follow te laws it states.

Maellik has begun to calm down a bit and turns to Kilgrim.

"Kilgrim, would ye please show meh evidence dey were made as a private guard? I 'ad not 'eard ov anytin' ov dis sort before an 'ad believed dem merely to be da army ov da 'uman's in our land."

Thoak looks over the council room at the atrocity of what has happen with a look of disgust underneath his beard. He shakes his head for a moment and stays silent, and then folds his arms as he attempts to listen over the shouting, and fighting of the Dwarves in the council room.

Hmm... Well in dat case oi agree dat da group's formation was illegal though I still think their 'onarreh titles, though needin' ta be removed, were dun by legal proccess. 'oweva, da group bein' illegal makes dere titles illegal as well in my mind. Da proccess fer da titles was legal but, due to the illegality of the group, oi now agree wit' yer statement in whole, Kilgrim, not just yer solution.

((O, derp. Sorry, I'm a bit tired and read his statement wrong. For some reason I thought he was saying he was looking in from outside and forgot he was on the council at the moment when I read it.))

((Well, technically the Dwarves are currently a republic. Democracies have the people directly in control of voting and stuff, republics have representatives like the council we have. Yes, it doesn't matter, yes this is probably pointless in the scheme of things and yes, that little detail was bugging me for some reason and I really have no idea why...

EDIT: Ugh...reading things wrong again. You said "be democratic" which is correct, not "be a democracy" which I read...

I'm gonna call it a night and come back to this exquisite example of dwarven politics in the morning when I can read things correctly.))
