A ship can be seen running aground upon the beach just outside of the Docks, a few men walk down the gangplank and head towards the local market to purchase supplies before returning to the ship and heading back into the sea. As the commotion from the new ship distracts all that are around, a cloaked figure steps down the gangplank and breaths in the fresh air of a land unknown to him, he looks around and smiles beneath the shadows of his cowl, "I'm home..." he says as he walks towards the new Kingdom of Oren, his horse beside him, a faithful companion over the last few years that the cloaked wanderer had owned him.

He walks past countless acres of farmland, his smirk growing larger and larger with each passing step that brings him closer to his home. Stopping at a small farmhouse for the night, he learns of the current and past events over the last few years of his absence in Oren, before the sun rises the next morning he is already back on the road and traveling once again towards his destination.

Hours later in the darkness of night the figure finally reaches the borders of the City and is stopped by a guard that asks of him his name and business, the figure simply reaches inside of his cloak and pulls out a pendant attached to a golden chain, the guard looks at it confused at first, but then notices what it is and nods, opening the gates and allowing the man to enter. The figure quietly walks in the back alleys of the city until he finds a quiet Inn to rest at for the night, he finds one a little while later after his entry into the city and pays the Inn Keeper the required amount of minas for a room, he then finds his way to his room and closes the door behind him, sitting in the only chair in the sparsely furnished room and hoping to find a few hours of sleep before the task he had planned for the next morning.

The birds are chirping outside when he awakens, he quickly checks over his supplies and then exits the Inn and walks out into the street, about an hour later and he arrives in the center of the city and is standing before the doors of the Throne Room, again he is asked his name and business for entry into the building and repeats the same action from the previous night, and is again allowed to enter after the guards inspect his pendant.

Entering inside the halls of the Throne Room, the cloaked figure walks up before the Emperor upon his new throne and kneels, he awaits for his permission to speak, the Emperor looks down upon his new guest and calls out to him, "You may speak..." he says in a rather bored tone of voice. The figure nods, and then pulls back the cowl of his cloak, removing the shadows cast upon his face by the cowl and drawing a multitude of gasps from the other occupants in the room, whispers began immediately on who the stranger might be and he smiles, "Your Imperial Majesty... I have returned." Charles Greymane says as he stands up before the Emperor Godfrey and kisses the ring on his outstretched hand, "I have returned from my self imposed exile and wish to fight in your honor once again."

Charles stands there looking into the eyes of his Emperor and awaits his response.

Borric stands at the side of the court room, brooding over the current going on. He glances to the gilded doors, his blue eyes glancing at the newcomer. He is about to look back down but he looks back at him, not believing what he is seeing. 'This man died' Borric thought, uncomfortable with the new badge of Sheriff-hood on his chest. He watches Charles as he advances, remembering this man started his ascent to his current Offices, of a Knight of Oren and a Sheriff of the Capital. Borric stands and slowly paces the side of the room, following him as he walks forwards, halting near the throne, observing what will unfold.

Two cloaked men watch as Charles kneels before the Emperor from an exiting corridor. One of the figures motions towards Charles as he turns from standing. "Follow me" is the signal he gives him.

Gundir straightens up in the hall, being placed directly to the left of Borric, he cranks his head to the left to see the gilded doors being opened. He began to scrutinize the stranger appearing rather familiar characteristics, he gives out a grunt and he turns his head back to the right, to the emperor. After a few moments, the stranger began to walk down the pathway to the throne which the Emperor was sitting on. Each step made a thump which seemed to echo in the hall, he heard "Your Imperial Majesty" Gundir's eyes widened and he realized his old friend had returned. He shifted awkwardly in his position making a ruffling sound and he looked over to Borric, whispering "Is that really him?" while waiting for a response he looks back to the Emperor, to see if he is at all surprised.

Uthor raises a brow once Charles enters the Throne room knowing his cousin all to well. He remains silent as he speaks to the Emperor requesting to be a knight and loyal man once again but as the same time as he speaks Uthor ponders why his cousin even why he left the Order which he was a Commander of and simple left his castle and home alone puzzled by this he goes off thinking until he shakes his head coming back to his senses seeing Charles was done saying his pleas. Uthor hopes the Emperor will allow his Cousin back into the order to continue his duties without saying a word. Knowing he would upset the Emperor if he would do so. So he remains silent at the Emperors side his Grand knight cloak and badge able to be seen by all around the room.

Ser Charles the Hunter rises and nods his thanks, "I have heard rumors of recent events and wish to offer my services once more to aid the order, hopefully I will prove that I still deserve this title as it has been granted to me." he says as he grins, partially looking towards Uthor as he speaks. "Now for the important part... your gifts your Imperial Majesty!" Charles says as he pulls out a satchel and hands it to a squire to bring to Godfrey, inside he would find rare weeds and tobaccos for the Emperor to smoke from the gilded pipe also found inside, there are also a few rare animal pelts inside as well, "I hope they suffice, I had thought that you may appreciate them most Honorable Emperor." he says with a slight bow, "Now if I may, I have urgent business to attend to your grace and wish to leave you to your gifts." Charles says as he begins to back away from the throne, so that the Emperor may further enjoy his new gifts. Charles turns to Uthor and hands him a letter, inside it would tell of his absence and that he plans to meet him at a later time that day. Charles then walks down the hall way towards the two strangers from earlier and quietly leaves the Throne Room to speak with them.
