History

E’Lizhath was born to unknown Dark Elf parents, he was abandoned in the city of Laurelin in early 1102. He had a quite normal life until one odd day whilst he was walking around Laurelin. He had met 3 Elves who were Pathfinders; these 3 Elves were to be his oldest friends, Huwel, Turin and Arana. There he had also met a peculiar fellow by the name of Aedan. He tagged along on their adventure that turned out to be a raid on an undead fortress. There he stood facing death, charging at the enemies, the undead conjuring there zombies, pigmen and skeletons, E’Lizhath knew something bad was going to happen to him and his friends.

As he turned around to the entrance of the fort, an undead caster ran up to him and stabbed him in the back. When that man touched E’Lizhath, his life changed forever, death touched him and he touched death. His friends were also injured in the raid, but Turin had managed to carry them to the cloud temple where they were healed. Afterwards when E’Lizhath had awoken he found his friends sitting around him doing what they could to get him better. After that, He did not see his friends for some time.

Many years passed and E’Lizhath decided to become a Warden, Malinor’s finest army, He rose up the ranks until he became a Glade Guard when his best friend Arana was exiled from the Wardens for things he did not do. That day E’Lizhath swore to take revenge upon his friend’s deceit and came across the small town of Mal’Rug. There he met many new friends including Brave, Travis, Strider and Genriel. He went from a lowly footpad to a Master Assassin in months stalking his prey watching as they died. These days as an assassin had changed him forever.

One day when E’Lizhath was adventuring He met a Wood Elf named Dom. He fell in love with her at first sight. They went on many adventures together looking for books and such to add to Dom’s library. Later she told E’Lizhath of the location of the Isle of The Wisps where she lived. Back at Mal’Rug E’Lizhath was called upon by Brave to run his earlier town of Valenwood. Of course E’Lizhath accepted. Years past and E’Lizhath had recruited two fellows by the name of Henry and Eze’kiel Tarus; he grew strong bonds between his brothers in arms, going on contracts together and the like. But alas the end drew near. The undead had taken Alk’Hazar, New Terriko, Kal’Alras and even the Dwarven city of Kal’Urguan! E’Lizhath knew he would die soon.

He had found that Brave, Travis and Strider had been ordered by Native to construct his ship if the time ever arouse. Back in Aegis, in the Elven capital of Laurelin laid people in the hundreds, surrounding Dawns bakery as the mage Vardak opened a portal to the Nexus. E’Lizhath knew it was his destiny to die fighting for what was right but that did not happen. After being injured, he and few other survivors escaped during the collapse of the undead paradise. E’Lizhath ran for the Verge knowing it would be the last day of Aegis. An undead priest had risen from the Cloud Temple and called upon his unearthly minions laying siege to the people of Aegis. A mighty dragon had risen from behind this caster, burning everything and anything.  Next thing E’Lizhath knew, he was knocked out and in the Verge on Native’s ship.

There they set sail for Asulon in hopes of salvation, but not for poor E’Lizhath. He became darker, more silent, and more aware.  In this state, after seeing what had happened to the only world he knew, he thought something must be done. E’Lizhath, once arriving at the great lands of Asulon, met up with the 4, the only ones he had left. He spent many nights and days, helping in the construction and growing of what was to be known as “Normandor”. But even Normandor had its secrets. Deep underneath the roots and structures was a way to see into the empty blackness that was the void. He had sat there for hours on end, meditating, looking deeper in. But one day it had occurred to him. He needed to travel; he needed to fill his thirst for adventure.

E’Lizhath had taken all that he had learned from the many years in the Shrouded and set off in hopes of a new life, after the one that had been lost all those years ago. So, he travelled and meditated on what laid ahead.

Throughout the years of Normandor, E’Lizhath came across that same peculiar fellow he had met that life changing day in Laurelin. Aedan. All the memories and sorrows had come back to E’Lizhath; he remembered all of it, all that came before. This only made his heart darker and heavier. Aedan and E’Lizhath travelled together for some time, E’Lizhath would protect Aedan and Aedan would protect him, they killed many-a-bandit and foe, until Aedan had fallen ill, E’Lizhath could not carry on with Aedan anymore and so, he had to leave him. And so, he continued on his adventure, preying on those who would do wrong against him, or his nation.

After a few months of adventuring, E’Lizhath would come across something that would give him hope. Dom had hid something from E’Lizhath for the time that she knew him, her daughter. E’Lizhath had come across her library, he spent hours, days even reading these books and studying them, he got to know Dom’s daughter very well. Until the day he knew that he had to leave, he could not give Dom’s daughter the life that she wanted, so once again he had to leave someone behind.

With a darkened, heavy, sorrow filled heart. E’Lizhath could not continue for any longer. For years, he meditated and this shone light upon those images that were dark. Until that long awaited day when the lands of Asulon were ripped apart by the Aenguls and Daemons.  From there he would sail upon one of the great boats once more, to the lands of Elysium he went. Things got better from there on. E’Lizhath know lives in New Vale with Aedan, who he watches over, protecting from harm. But one day, while he was out walking about the Vale.

A small Elf boy came up to him, asking for a place to stay as his parents had abandon him, E'Lizhath, not aware of the events that would unfold after this, answered the boy telling him he could stay with him.
After this, an Elf came up to them, insisting the boy should come with him to Malinor as he was some sort of "mali'ker property". But E'Lizhath would have none of this, He thought that anyone who has been through abandonment, truly earns their own freedom, no matter the age. After a few minutes of bickering with the man, there was rustling in the trees above them. A masked fellow with a crossbow, aimed straight at the man. E'Lizhath. Being a good person. stepped in front of the man, taking the bolt straight to his shoulder. He fell backwards, in front of the man he had just saved and coughed. getting back up. E'Lizhath pulled the bolt from his shoulder, blood going all over his coat. This attacker jumped out of the tree, along with a lady who had been hiding there as well. After a few minutes of talking, The attacker once again aimed the crossbow. But this time towards the lady. The attacker tried to kick E'Lizhath, failing to do so as he grabbed his/her leg twisting it. This did not end the way E'Lizhath hoped it would, the attacker shot the bolt just as he twisted, hitting the lady in the lower chest. E'Lizhath had stumbled back... The attacker quickly threw his/her crossbow towards E'Lizhath hitting him in the chest. E'Lizhath thought fast and reacted by grabbing hold of the crossbow, trying to load it. The attacker moved swiftly towards E'Lizhath with a dagger pointed towards him. E'Lizhath swung the crossbow at the attacker but to no avail, he/she still managed to swipe him a few times across the chest.

While all this was was happening, a strange fellow had been sitting there in the wet grass, summoning flames to his arm. The attacker had grabbed E and swung him around towards the shade in the grass, hoping to save him/herself from what was to happen. Although E managed to strike the masked attacker in the mask, it only caused him more pain as it was made of thick metal. The shade had summoned flames from the void. Casting them towards the two, blasting them back. E'Lizhath was thrown on the ground, and was knocked unconscious for a few minutes, when E'Lizhath had come around, the attacker and the lady were no where to be seen, the shade still sat there in the grass.

E'Lizhath stumbled back into his home, and laid down on his bed, still bleeding. He had fallen asleep. When he awoken a few hours later, he stumble outside holding his wound tightly, pale faced and going slightly cold. He passed out falling into the lake. Botar, the attacker and the shade were standing there talking at the time. but this only faired worse for poor E'Lizhath. Botar pulled him from the lake, he was limp and cold. Botar had set him down on the ground, not sure what to do... But the masked person had more plans for him, he/she loaded the new crossbow he/she had acquired, aiming for E's head. The trigger pulled and a bolt was sent straight into E's forehead. He was quite dead. Luckily, Botar had sent word to the monks, who after a while showed up and carried E'Lizhath's body away for healing.

After a few days, E'Lizhath had awoken, in a strange tent with a cloth wrapped around his shoulder. Not sure of what happened, he stumbled out of the tent, to what appeared to be the monk refuge. Although he does not remember much from the events that unfolded that day, E'Lizhath holds a hatred in his heart for that strange masked person who killed him...
This is where his story ends, this is also where it begins.

He currently lives in the Wilds with his family, enjoying being a father.
