Orym grins as Khel speaks, but he refrains from speaking and continues to listen.

*waves his hand towards the most recent speaker. "It is like this individual has suggested. Do not call upon us to satiate your hatred. Go and fight your own battles outside of our borders and leave us in peace. Your war-mongering shall no longer be welcomed amongst these lands. Involve us in your devious ploys no longer."

*points at the hooded figure. "Ah. She hopes by avoiding the real issues that she shall win you over to her selfish cause. She fails to address the true heart of the matter. She immediately turns your gaze back to her desire for -vengeance-. She plays upon your emotions and stirs your bestial temptations. You are above this! I will not avoid the true matter. Answer me, betrayer of our ways, why should we rally to your selfish cause in order to satiate your hunger for revenge?"

"For if we do not act now, we will die! We will all be wiped out. If anyone is selfish, it is them! Those people who slaughter the elves like lambs."

*She holds up the notice of Polgrath being attacked.*

"Read it."

*She shakes the note at Birch's face.

"Do you see this man? This man was attacked by the humans. He will not be the last victim, rest assured. They will continue to attack us, and bully us into submission. My actions are hardly selfish as I refuse to idle by and allow these pigs to treat us like this. If you wish to, fine. That is your choice. I value my life, and the life of all elves. We must defend what is precious and valuable to us."

*She turns to Larien*

"We do not provoke them. We, the elves did nothing wrong, when they were ordered to end us on the spot. What have the elves done to deserve this? Nothing! That is why we musn't allow this to happen. In order to survive, we must fight!"

A dark elf in unremarkable clothing makes his way up through the mali'ker district tunnel. Light seems to shimmer about him as he passes a torch to his left, the smoke for a moment penetrating the side of his disguise. It is swiftly restored, the dark elf ascends the stairs as the shimmering dies down. He leans upon the back of the tunnel. Suddenly he speaks in an authoritarian tone, the elf's voice seems to emanate from all directions:

"The White Rose long as burnt us! Mutilated us! Harassed us! Let us take arms brethren! Let us cease the slaughter by showing them what they showed to us! We needn't berate any longer but rather need action! Let steel meet flesh!"

Subsequently the elf turns and once more descends into the tunnel before disappearing from sight. Once he is far enough away the illusion fades, revealing Kalenz Uradir.

*Nienna Calm approaches Princess Earenniel from behind.*

*She listens to the yelling, curiously at first, but eventually with a mask of horror.*

Nienna:...

*Nienna slowly closes the gate.*

*scoffs in disbelief as he listens to their responses. "You know very well this all could have been avoided. They -chose- to get involved with them by going into -their- territory and antagonizing them. It is not our place to ride to their defense when they are facing the logical consequences of their actions. I will not stand for the sacrificing of more lives to defend a cause that should never have come about in the first place. Stop antagonizing the other cultures of these lands, for if you do, we shall not rise up to protect you."

Khel rushes back up the stairs of the mali'ker district. He points a finger at the most recent speaker in a very adamant and tenacious manner.

"What this man said!!"

He then rushes out the gates off to who knows where, going off to Oren to talk about some things and other things

*lowers the note, but retains her composure*

"How do you know this man was in their territory? You dont. This man could be anywhere and be stalked by the humans. For all we know they could be coming straight for us right now, and let me ask you a question. What will you do when they come?"

Polgrath calls out, green smoke emanating from his ears

"Even upon the very steps of The High Elven city I was not safe! I was not goading them in their home kingdom! Nay, they strike within the heart of Malinor! This is not some distant problem for a few distant trouble makers... but for all Mali even in our most secure home! Enough... why must they face no repreisal for the attempted genocide?"

*Claps his hands together and lets out a sincere chuckle. "And now you see the so called -truth- behind her intent. Come, my brethren. Let us listen to her unfounded allegations no longer. Malin blesses us this day with true insight and justifiable reason."

*Descends the stair as he begins to beckon the crowd to disperse. Before he reaches the bottom of the stair, however, he turns around and gazes intently at the hooded figure. "When you are prepared to grant us truth in the matter, perhaps then we shall listen to your claims. Until then, please cease from causing fear and panic amongst our people for the purposes of your own agenda. Now then. Good day.

*Bows his head slightly to hooded figure with outstretched arms before gathering his coat around him and departing from the scene.

As Birch departs from the scene she speaks.

"Do not listen to this man's ignorant claims. He does not understand the position we are all in. He does not wish to believe that we are all in danger. Notice how he ignores my question. He does not understand the severity of the issue. If you do not wish to fight fine, but be prepared for when they come."

*The druid, Alan, listens to the attempts at persuasion from the speaker.*

"You are correct, we are indeed in danger. However, the true danger is not the possibility of the humans waging war on us, it is the war that we will wage on our culture from your proposed actions. There is always the off chance that the humans will fight us and there will be loss. However, making a move in fighting them will not only guarantee this possibility, but it will also guarantee a much bigger loss; the loss of our elven ways. Fighting is not the answer, it never has been and it never will be. Leave such primitive acts of violence to the humans if it is their desire to perform them, but until they are upon our doorsteps as an immediate threat as you predict, we will not lift a sword. I suggest you listen to my advice, for although I may not be much more than a long serving druid, I have had my fair share of involvement and experience with similar matters, and the ending results are always the same."

Stays relatively silent through the conversation, not caring much until Khel had spoken up. It seems someone wants a final battle between Oren and Malinor and the smarter of us know it is extinction. Azel sighs and heads forward, looking to see who this hooded figure is. Unable to discern him or her, he gets closer and attempts to remove the hood from behind, hoping to end this foolishness with such a simple gesture as the removal of headwear. As Azel does so, he rummages through his many memories, trying to discern who this hooded Elf could be and only one person comes to his mind. Azel knows by making wild accusations on who it could be could cause trouble, so he just continues his attempt to remove her hood.
