Dakr is called to the Rex’s chamber. There Dakr is ordered by the Rex to send a letter to

 

the King of the Dwarves and his lords in order to bring a stop to the war.
 
Dakr returns to his small hole in the ground and grabs a small ink sac along with a
sharpened stick. He begins to write onto a piece of papyrus the message which is
intended for the King of the Dwarves.
