How did you hear about the Lord of the Craft?: I watched a video on youtube about it and thought I'd give it a go, It looks really good and I enjoy roleplay.

Definitions

In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is when someone acts as someone he/she is not; Therefor taking on a new role.

 

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: An out of character action using knowledge that the Character isn't/shouldn't be aware of. E.g: Super Mario knowing that he was made by Nintendo and is in a game.

 

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: Power-emoting is where you forcefully tell someone what you have done to them in role-play without their concent. E.g: Say if in real life you were out of the blue you were playing Cowboys with your best friend and your friend suddenly says "Pew pew! I shot you! Your dead!" You would the reply "No you didn't" This is an example of Power-Emoting. An efficient way of getting around this is to say: "Pew pew! I'm trying to shoot you" You would then reply "I quickly dodged your bullets by rolling out of the way" The game can then get on without any cheats or arguments

 

 

In-Character Details

Character Name:Jake Fridiaey

Character Race: Human

Character biography: Jacob is a 21 year old Human and in his
prime. He is strong with dark hair and blue eyes. He is quick tempered
and his dark but mildly happy moodswings can clash with other peoples
personalities, He is a fast learner and already knows a few basic
skills.

 

When he was a young boy aged around 2 his father, who he had a
close bond with, disconnected any connections his mother and left him
never to be seen again. His mother and him were then taken in by Jake's
Uncle who showed him how to do basic crafting and smithing.

 

Many years later at the age of 18, Jake became a man in his village,
he took a long think about the next step in his life. He thought of
distant and faint memories of his father and how he left him at such a
young age. Then thought of his slowly weakening mother and how soon her
life shall be taken by the unknown virus that was sweeping through his village killing the weak.                 

Later that year his mother past away.  He felt he had no-one in life. He decided that he had to find a way to make himself feel needed. He thanked his uncle for everything and left the village which he knew so well. With both sadness and darkness in his heart. He took a long journey out of the
extreme southerly lands in a northerly direction to the lands of
Elysium. Arriving in this strange land he is excited about what could
happen in this next chapter of his life! 

 

What are your characters ambitions?: He wishes too go on a Journey of self-discovery and become a well known and loved Person, He also dreams of riches.

Open-Response-Questions

 

Upon entering the Mighty Human City
of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares
to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking
to make a living in a new city. What is your response? "Poor Dwarf it pains me to see your race in this state.

You mighty metal workers were always the ones with the money. Here have some minas for
you and your family and change your life." I give the Dwarf half the money I have in my purse.

"It is the least I can do" I turn my back whilst looking over my shoulder at the old and frail Dwarf to see if he
is still okay. Then walk on..

 

You’re
wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to
threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation
looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character
do? I run up to the big Orc and shout at him "Pick on someone
your own size" The Orc returns with a blow to my head. I use my whit to
defeat the orc and he collapses to the ground after a stone hits him in
the forehead. I turn to the Dwarf and ask "Are you okay are you hurt?"

The Dwarf replies "Yes I believe everything is fine, Thanks to you" Then continue up Oren Road.
 

 

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old
man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about
to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As
he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As
you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless
man. What does your character do?: Feeling simpathy for the man I ask "Oh gosh! Are you okay? let me help you."

"No no, that isn't necessary" The Man replies. I Ignore him and pick up all his money and return it to him. I then dash about and look for something for him to use as a walking stick... But my efforts fail. So I help the man to Malinor and buy him a new walking stick "This should last you" I say.

I then find the nearest inn for the weak man to stay in. I pay the Inn keeper enough minas for 1 night. As i'm walking out of the door the frail man shouts "Thanks a lot!" I greatfully and greedily accept his payment and continue my adventure to Elysiumm

 

Okay so that was my Second attempt at an application form.. It took a
while.. Again. I seriously want to play on this server. Sorry for it all being in orange, again I
copied and pasted the application form and this is how it all turned out.

 

Oh and the titles wrong because of a fault in my pc. You see I was scanning something and it must have mest up whilst I was typing. Sorry I only just noticed
