[Support] Server Connection

I've recently returned from vacation, tired, and ready to play...earlier in the day I played from Oren to my house no problems, everything went along smoothly I was even chatting mid-walk. Logged off to play League of Legends and attempted to relog and found a strange problem...

I could log into the server no sweat, but the moment I did I would be hit by immense lag, to the point I couldn't interact, send tells, anything of the sort. It is not a ping problem as I have checked if any packets were being lost and it wasn't. No one else is up at this moment and I'm on league of legends off and on and there is no lag there. Yet whenever I attempt to log in , it acts out.

Attempted Fixes: Refresh Minecraft, Reset PC, Redownload minecraft, Shut down PC.

Have you tried resetting your internet?

If that doesn't work, it's obviously a problem specific to Minecraft. It might be the way your computer runs it, or rather the Minecraft site itself.

Have you tried logging on to other servers? Maybe it's just LotC specifically.

I have had this off and on occasionally throughout my time on lotc. As well as on other servers.

It's annoying but it's always either fixed itself after a while for me, or I've had to restart my router.

If restarting your router doesn't work I'd simply try to wait it out. :]

Did you try flushing your DNS? I probably saying it wrong...but this could be it, and I forget how to do it but there are explinations on how to fix it. But try and do the troubleshoot connection thing to see if anything is wrong, most likely it will come back empty but it is worth a try.

Also try restarting your router if you can, all that stuff. As for why it is only affected you on the server...eh....good question? o_o

I would first check that it's not just a LOTC issue try logging into other servers if the problem persists it is likely a connection / installation issue on your end or your ISP although I can't rule out ISP issues even if it is just our site (they might have bad peering where we are).

Bare in mind, if we're only getting this complaint from a handful of players, it's likely to be a connection or settings issue on your end. While this could be wrong, do try things like minimizing graphics setting, and other such lag-reducing options.
