  1. 1. Do you actively follow the LOTC Twitter / Facebook?

    • I follow LOTC on Facebook
    • I follow LOTC on Twitter
    • I follow both
    • I follow neither
  2. 2. If no, why not?

    • Lack of Creativity
    • I don't have Twitter
    • I don't have facebook
    • The tweets and posts are repetitive
    • Other; Please post below why you do not!

Why not film events such as bandit raids? They aren't that time consuming considering I know someone who is able to get it onto YouTube within 4 hours of the event.

Something such as a bandit raid doesn't make for a good video. There tends to be so much text flying past that in a video you would be constantly pausing the video to keep up.

Other - My facebook and twitter accounts are kind of like old tomes on a shelf, sitting there, collecting dust. ^-^

Honestly, a lot of minecrafters love  PvP, if you haven't noticed (;)) so recording the PvP of a bandit raid then posting it onto youtube may get some attention, though I doubt the events leading up to it would be interesting.

If I had an active twitter/facebook I would subscribe, but I don't really like either of those sites.

Understandable.  We'll take it into consideration however we need the player base to contact us in advance!  So that we may get a filmer ready and shaders ready and all that fun stuff.

I'm going to make a quick suggestion (since Liri already bumped this :p)
Maybe instead of just posting renders and the question of the day you could also make polls, talk about some funny moment, etc.
Getting more involved on the social media websites. All I see now is the question of the day and (rarely) a render.

Ah sorry, I've really not been around. The main reason the facebook isn't updated much is that there's very few mods.

Hael, Robin, Myself, Freya and native are set as admins while everblue, gabriel and somebody else who I don't know is set to content creator.

I'd like to see the media team take the youtube channel to a more regularly updated point.

For example, instead of the admin team etc.. Posting videos on other channels or whatever about updates and things relative to it, have the updates done by the media team on LoTC's official youtube channel.

This would give us clear cut information on a front which is both interesting and nice to watch. Simply reading a facebook status is alright for small news, but for things like plugins or polls, why not do a youtube video for us to watch and be involved with? Even the monthly updates could be done over youtube with live video of Danny and a star guest talking or something similar.

I honestly think youtube is your guys one way ticket to more recruits onto LoTC. The videos do not have to be long winded and tirelessly edited, nor released every day. (Weekly? Bi-weekly?) they simply have to be fun to watch and with an upbeat spirit. Sort of like a lets play but with you guys simply talking to the community and bringing up relevant information.

On twitter I actively try and give interactive tweets about current events and maybe a funny screenshot every now and then.  Yet most of our followers seem very inactive.

It's nice and all don't get me wrong...but all I see posted is a bunch of trivia questions. Maybe switch it up with a screenshot of the day or daily updates and/or jokes based around lore?
