*In the black of night, you walk a lonely road. Under the whispering green, you wander through the forest silently. It had been a few days since you had eaten properly and your small rations of jerky and travelers' bread in the leather bag was due to run out soon. To hunt, was not an option in this place, for there are some things much worse than hunger if you strayed from the path. All of a sudden, a shimmering light appears in front of your eyes along the old road. Though you know deep down that it could mean danger, you carelessly continued wander towards the light. As you leap over a small ruin wall and slipping between a few trees you finally notice the dwarf, calmly sitting at the fire*
 

 

A traveler? Do sit down and share bread with me beneath this black sky ;the dwarf says unsurprisingly, with a steady and deep voice. Almost enchanted by the scene you sit down without a fuss, on the opposite side of the fire and recieves a piece of bread from the unknown dwarf. While you unhurriedly take a bite from the bread, the dwarf looks upon you, across the fire, with a exhausted face and says:

 

I am a courier from the Hold of Vaerhaven, in the dwarven kingdom of Urguan. I have been given the task by the Jarl of Vaerhaven, Ferron Andvare MacGowan, to find a number of people on my list for citizenship in the hold.

 

Perhaps you are one of those that I seek in this world? What is your name, stranger?
