Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): I am Allsriel Rhuidel. I have lived a pretty bland, eventless life. Ever since my mother died by an orc battle, my father has been very protective. He hasn`t let me out of the house very much. I have gotten to explore about half of The Elder Tree City of Normandor. I live on the eastern side of things. My mother was a high elf. She married my father,a wood elf, this rarely occurs, but the two elves were madly in love and they didn`t care about their diversity. And then they had me. They told me, " I hope you have children like yourself, Allsriel." Then one year later,my mother went out to go gathering. She collected berries and other goods to then later sell. But one day she came across an orc group. They were fierce. And all she had was a dagger. She commonly used it to whack pieces of stems off plants. She tried, but she was weak. She couldn`t fight them all. There was one orc found dead. The rest live on till this very day.

     My father had been working as a guard. He had done very well in his career. He was high in rank. Saved our county a few times. I don`t know what I would be without him. But since my mother died, he just hasn`t been the same. He has been acting quite differently. He seems close to suicide. He says I keep him hanging on. That is why I think what I do. Now he is a farmer. He goes through hard labor everyday, trying to make a living. Trying to keep us with food. He also sells his crops to some of the local inns to gain money. I want him to stop. I want him to just take a break from his stress. I tell him I can do his job for day. So he can just relax,and see what a day in a life in my shoes is like. He has been refusing. But last week I got him to do it. I am not the best farmer, but I did okay. I didn`t tell him about my day because it would stress him out. Later that last week, he became more lenient. He let me be free. I also turned 19! He said I could go on my own.

    Yesterday I left. I packed all of my gear. I haven`t been out for to long. I am hoping to find a man. I want a strong high elf. I want him to either be a hunter,monster slayer, or a guard. All of those are very manly. I want him to be strong. I am hoping we can find a descent home. I like being outdoors. I thought it would be amazing to live in a large "tree house", as the humans would call it. I don`t consider it a "tree house". All it is is an average home,especially for those wood elves, like my father.I hope I have a spectacular future ahead of me!

Ambitions for the Future:I want to get married to a high elf. One who is strong and buff. I also want to find a house with, "the wow factor".

Personality:I am a outdoor elf. I love being outside. I am usually friendly and nice, but when I get set off I become snotty and rude.

Skills:I am talented in literature, swordsmanship, and I am very stealthy. I am bad at animal herding, mining, and overconfidence.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):I have blonde,long hair,and dark blue eyes.

[b]1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?[/b]

Answer:If I was striding in the forest, probably on the job, I would use my stealth skills to sneak up and grab the wood elf. I would ask the child questions and make sure he was okay. Once I reassured his health, both mentally and physically, and leave him to go to safety. Since the tyrants were high elves I would go over and talk to them. I wouldn`t really mention what had just happened, and then I would keep going on with my day.

[b]2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?[/b]

 

Answer:I will help the frail man up. I will take him to the local healer and help him. While I help him up I will most likely take the money and keep for myself, but not mention it to anyone else. Anyways, I did bring him to safety…

 

[b]3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

 

Answer: I go over and say hello. I say that I would like to buy a bow and set of arrows. He says that he selling them for 10 gold. I exclaim, "That is too much. How about 5 gold?" He says, "7, how about seven sweet little girl." "Me? Little? I`m 19. Oh and no. 5.5 gold. No more, no less."I declare. "6," He counters."NO! 5.5,"I yell."Fine…fine," the salesman whispers."Now,give me my bow," I say with annoyance. I hand him the money and he tosses me my bow.

A pretty good first attempt. However, there were some issues that led me to pass denial as my verdict:

 

 

1.  Please go into more detail with your Meta-Gaming and Power-Emoting definitions and add examples to both. We need to be certain that you know what these acts are.

 

2.  Your Open Response Questions were rather short. Please write them with more dialogue between the characters and with detailed actions. Make them read like short stories or roleplay scenarios.

 

3.  You lack a screenshot of your skin. To put one in your application, do the following:
Go to Imgur. Once there, drag and drop the screenshot of your skin onto the home page and then when a new part of the interface comes up, click "Upload". After it has uploaded, right-click the screenshot and then click "Copy Image". Afterwards, paste it into your application with Ctrl+V.

 

3.  This isn't exactly a reason for denial, but in your character biography you say that you're half High Elf and half Wood Elf. High Elves have their own unique culture away from the Elves as a whole which you probably should be aware of. You can read up on it on this Wiki page. Keep in mind that being a mixed-blood High Elf will make you shunned within High Elven society for being of impure blood. You can pass with your current biography if you so wish.

 

 

A good try, though there's just a few important things that need fixing. However, please wait at least a full twenty four hours as of this post's edit (seen below) to post your next attempt as this will give you time to improve upon your application.
