Not a ton. I have played role-players and was on a role-playing forum before. But I have not played on a Minecraft role-playing server before. I understand how to do it, and I'm mature.

In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:

When two or more people interact, acting as something they are not, or someone they are not. And example would be me pretending to be a king, giving order to people on a server, and than someone else on the server doing what the character would do to the given situation.

Meta-gaming:

The use of out-game knowledge or resources to affect someone's in game decisions. For example, say I'm on LORD OF THE CRAFT, and I come across a monster MY character has never seen before. I then use knowledge from out-game, and attack using the monsters weaknesses. Even though my character has never seen the monster, I attack using the weaknesses. This is meta-gaming, and it can destroy role-play.

Power-emoting:

Also known as god-emoting, is when one player focuses a result on another player, that does not let the other player react or have a chance to do something to stop the affect being focus on him/her. A example would be "Player 1, being huge, grabs Player 2 and chucks him across the room, making him not a threat anymore." <--- That is power-emoting. But instead of doing that, the person can do; "Player 1 jumps forward, trying to get a hold on Player 2". This gives player 2 a chance to react.

Full Name: Aleban Groskien.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Aleban grew up like most children. He lived in Ager where him and his family raised and sold cattle. His father was a hard working cattle raiser named Joshkerez, and his mom was a kind women named Jazmeenez. They lived almost a normal, boring life-style. Aleban was often bored and went to find make believe adventures, often getting him into troubled. Some of his favorite day-to-day things was to egg guards and climb trees.

  When he was old enough his father arranged for him to be a apprentice/helper to a local hunter named Lucler. They would go into the woods where Relk learned how to hunt, sneak, and use a bow. He became quite acquainted with using the bow, and still today it is his favorite weapon/tool. But the life as a hunter was not for him. He decided that he has seen all there is to see in Ager, and will go to Arethor to find a job. He hopes to join the Military/Guard and protect his fellow citizens.
 

Ambitions for the Future: To become either a guard, scout, join the Rangers of the Forest, become a Emerald Knight, , or a assassin (I know I will have to make a villain application, so it will be a long time until this happens, seeing the rules forbid new members to have a villain role.)

Personality: Aleban is mostly quiet. He likes to travel and keep to himself. He is nice to fellow humans, and is loyal. He can be rude at times, and will do what he thinks is right.

Skills:

  His years of hunting have made him good with archery and sneaking. He is also a good thinker, being able to give advice and help when its needed.

No. I fixed the definitions and the bio like I was told. I also said how he learned his skills(hunting), and I expand the last answer like I was told.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:

 

Aleban studies the man. He looks at him for another minute, than deciding he is surely up to no good. Aleban fallows the strange man, bored and curious. The man is starting to mumble and almost skip. Than he notices that the man is going towards the human capital. "Out-oh" Aleban says in a whisper. But whats that? The man reaches for a dagger as he comes towards a official who is talking to a shopkeeper. "Guards!" Aleban yells. A few guards turn towards Aleban with puzzled looks. He points to the strange man who is getting closer. The man grabs the official while cussing. Aleban runs as fast as he can, sloppily throwing himself onto the cloaked figure. Three guards come over, lifting Aleban up and grab the cloaked figure.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage.Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer:

 

" Oh god." says Aleban, seeing the situation. "If I had a bow I could pick them off...But I don't." He mumbles. But he must help the poor old man. He runs up, about thirty feet away and shouts; "Looking for money, eh? Why don't you try me?" he shouts, throwing a small stone at one of the bandits. Obviously they are not to happy about the stone and the taunts. They begin to take chase after Aleban, Having the thirty feet advantage, Aleban hauls it like no tomorrow. Eventually, he gets far enough away, and loses sight of the bandits. "Well, I helped that guy, for now."


3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall.You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do?(Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer:

 

Aleban walks around the human capital, looking around shops and stalls. "No emeralds...?" Aleban says with dis-taste as he keeps searching. "Emeralds? Take a look over here." says an old merchant in a colorful stall. "Finally..." says Aleban as he comes up to the stall. "Yeah, I got plenty of emeralds here. Make me a offer, I have no set price." says the merchant. Aleban thinks for a few moments. "How about, say 350 Minas for that big one?" Aleban says, picking up one of the large gems. "No way! A fine emerald like that is at least 450 Minas!" says the merchant, almost getting upset. "Your crazy." Aleban says to the man. The merchant snorts "How about you quit your crying and make me another deal". "Fine, I'll meet you in the middle at 400 Minas, and that's as high as I go." Aleban says leaning forward putting both hands on the table. The merchant stairs at the emerald for a couple moments. "Deal..." he says. "Here." Aleban says, putting a sack of Minas on the table. The merchant than counts every single Minas until he begins to nod. "Alright, here." the merchant hands over the emerald. "Well, pleasure doing business with you." Aleban says. "Yeah, you too." the merchants says. Aleban, happy that he bought the emerald, walks away.
