Purging Burrows

((All ooc here))

Alright so as many of you know we've run out of burrows. They're gone, nothing left and this is where our problem lies. Now, as many of you know burrow checks were completed during the stepping down of Bili as Elder. Over this time burrows that were taken were recently filled and now there are no more to fill up. I will be doing two things over the course of the next week. One, I will be taking burrows of those who have not been on in over 2 weeks. If you fall in this category, please pm me or leave a note. Marco you will keep your burrow as your situation is dealt with. Two, we will be contacting those who do not play their Halflings as well as asking those who do not wish to keep their burrow to post in this thread. We hope you understand that you aren't feeling pushed out of the community and if you choose to keep your burrow although inactive we will have to make arrangements. Also if you aren't on your halfling meaning none of us have ever seen you on your character you're not keeping your burrow. Also when creating a character, aim for a family. Not only does it make great rp it keeps everyone from needing their own burrow. Inactive players have 7 days to become active again!

In addition we will be remaking burrow tasks in a different, undecided way.

That is all, Bolo Willowbottom, Elder

Something you should add is we don't want you having a burrow if you're not active on your  Halfling, which is something I've noticed. Ya, we all have OOC lives but people make a Halfling, play them once, get a burrow, and than wont ever give it up just because it's "theirs". Get a burrow if you need it, not because you're a one-time Halfling please  :bored:

Definitely a good idea to strip burrows from inactive people or people who don't play their character anymore (Of course excluding Marco with his situation). Also, I had an idea if the need for burrows becomes too great incase the Halfling playerbase spikes. Maybe flesh out more hills and make the unused burrows a bit larger, fit for families rather than single people. It would be nice to see Halfling families running around again.

I have to say that as someone relatively new to Lenfarthing I have also noticed the distinct shortage of burrows about due to people I'm yet to see once taking the burrow for themselves before becoming inactive.

I'm glad something is being done. Good job, Bolo.

T.T I've been thinking to put my burrow up as a "halfling hotel", since I've been busy on the weekdays and my burrow is kind of staying there.

Basically, put halflings there for a short amount of time to see if they have the halfling mentatility.

We've been thinking of doing this, setting up a communal burrow to have people live in before actually giving them a burrow.
