White Rose Ban From Lenfarthing

The warm crisp air of Lenfarthing brightens as you near close to it. The scene is quickly disturbed by the racket of a sign held on by a piece of wire banging against the post in the wind. The sign is written in charcoal and seems lengthy but from the looks of it seems very important to read before entering the village. The exceptionally neat handwriting reads;

Due to recent events, all White Rose Personnel are not permitted to enter into Lenfarthing under any circumstances. They have shown disrespect and rude behavior to residents and therefore will not be allowed inside. Failure to comply with these rules will result in jailing, or a whack in the head with a shovel. All others EXCEPT ORCS may enter, have a nice day!

Part of the sign is re written.

A note is scratched down under the notice. It seems to have been written in a hurry!

"Anyone can enter... ORCS?!"

Temp is seated in the secondary library, a large dusty Tome labeled, "Thersist Rites" placed before him. A Rose enters the room, spewing news of the Halfling lands and for an extended moment, Temp simply looks to his book, almost as if he hadn't heard the news. As the Rose begins to repeat himself, Temp leans back in his chair, a smirk across his face, "The Twit thinks tha' was us? HA! 'ow common. Somethin' goes wron', it's the Rose... BAH, no ma'er, can't say I've e'er really been to runty lan'."

The Two look to one another a moment before shrugging and going back to their work.

Peter look at the notes with a peculiar face, his eyebrow furrowed and his lips parted, he mouths over the note.

"Banned from- wait, what?"

The Duke then shakes his head in disappointment, "Leric, write eh' letter an' send it to deh' Elders ov' deh' 'alflings." He states in a low tone, his head continues to shake.

"The 'alflings are teh' be protected by the Rose, not attacked by dem'. Somethin' 'ere doesn't add awp'. They've been eh' protectorate ov' ours since Elyisum."

Reaching a point of silence, Peter finally nods off Leric. Allowing him to courier the note to its designated location and at the same time, ridding off back to Westerland.

Thomas walks calmly along the halls of the citadel of Ard Kerrack, whistling calmly. His footsteps sound awfully muffled, and it is soon realized he isn't wearing boots, but carrying them under his arm. He enters the throne room, plopping himself down into the stone throne, setting the boots before him, leaning over in the chair. With the same calming whistle, Thomas brings up the left boot, looking to the end of it, smiling. This boot was steel-toed, and brand new. He slips it gingerly onto his foot and rolls the tops up his shins, repeating the process with the other boot, bobbing his head happily as he ties them tight.

After a minute, he rises up once more, striding down from the dais and along the long red and white rug of the throne room. He passes by Adeon and smiles, turning to face him as he walks, making a half-turn as he does,

"Looks like we got some 'alflin's to punt."

The white-haired bodyguard grinned and nodded, quickly following behind the bearded Chivay as they headed out to the training pit, where pre-placed halfling-sized dummies were already prepared and waiting. Thomas looked to Adeon, and Adeon looked to Thomas. They both smirked and nodded, and dove into the pit, thrashing their boots fiercely about the quarter-sized dummies, sending portions of them flying all about the sand-pit, splintering and crashing and causing all sorts of sounds. And these sounds were surprisingly calming to the two, and the few spectators that had come to watch, all with smiles on their faces. The two ended their "drill" with a few exasperated breaths as they gazed around the pit, splintered woodchips and hay lay strewn about, a mini scene of destruction only capable of a Chivay and a witcher. The two looked at each other, nodded and smiled once more; both of them stepping off without another word. Thomas returned to his whistling, and Adeon went off to clean his boots.

Hears of the news, shaking his head. "This must be a mistake, the Roses do not kill Halflings," he mutters to himself.

Adeon carefully polishes the metallic tip of his boots, the same tips that kicked an Elder Halfling's bottom earlier that day.

He takes a deep breath as he hears the news, standing up and sliding his feet into the boots, a single phrase escapes his thin lips as he looks out over the Keep, where soldiers were training on shorter dummies than usual.

"Bloody Quarter-Men."

Kaelys Is standing in the general area of Ascher as he overhears him, he thinks back to the time Ascher said:

"This must be a mistake, the roses don't kill innocents."

He shakes his head, clearly this one doesn't get out much.
